Ah yes, Kurokomo Glades, the quiet small town not too far from the city, honestly kinda boring if you ask Abi. But they're known for many things like luscious green pastures and more importantly her favorite, Kokoro High School!
Unfortunately for her, taking the bus tends to take a while, which leaves time for her to reflect.

God, this freaking weirdo again… He couldn't just leave her alone.
But meet him today…? I mean she definitely didn't want to see his face again, not after what he did. But maybe, just maybe Abi could use this as a chance to-
Suddenly noise rang out. “Next stop, Kokoro High.”
Oh crap! This is her stop!
Quickly, Abi grabbed her things, slightly adjusting her uniforms ribbon as she headed off the bus. Anddd here we are!
She was pretty lucky to even get into this school. Not that it was any different from others…
But you wanna know what makes this school so special? That's because it's a mixed species school, one with both cats and dogs in it, something practically unheard of well, anywhere.
And look at who was waiting at the gates for her, Oreo, her closest friend ever since she came here and honestly, she wouldn't have it any other way.
“Hey, Abi!” The vanilla wafer colored cat yelled as he ran, waving towards her. “Holy cats, I almost thought you weren't gonna make it!”
As if! “Of course I was gonna make it, idiot.” This was one of the few schools she actually liked going to, unlike her old one… She wouldn't miss a day that easily.
She could already tell he knew that from his ever slightly wider grin than usual. Darn goofball…
But alright, alright. Gesturing to her, Oreo started to go on ahead of Abi. “Come on, let's go!”
“Hey, wait for me!” Sheesh, didn't need to rush her…
Together they both walked through the school halls alongside each other, waving hi to anyone who happened to say to them, maybe checking the notice board for anything cool, you know the usual…
You know, all things considered the students here weren't all that bad for a school with both cats and dogs in it, and again that's why Abi liked it here.
But despite that, her mind drifted off to more important manners. “Hey, did I tell you about that asshole friend of mine?”
Oreos face expression slightly shifted and reasonably so, she did sorta bring that up out of nowhere. “You mean that one, right…?”
