A. Nah, just go back to sleep.

I guess whatever he was worrying about wasn't really her problem, she was too tired anyway, she could deal with this in the morning. So, Abi went back to sleep.

Her rest was far from dreamless. Voices, visions of what not only she but someone close to her as well once experienced, she could hear them, feel them, sense them.

“Oh hey, Abi-”  The familiar soul beckons only to turn his head around. “Monster.”

“What even are you?” An unfamiliar one inquires.

“You, stay far away from me!” A magicless cat warns.

“Dangy mutts, that's what you all are.” His twin states.

“Freak.”

Then, the bloodied paws of a young “pup”, the bright red scissors, those bodies, she recognized them. No… Nonononono.

NO!!!!!

All of their words stir endlessly in her head in a mix of frustration, hatred, and confusion, and every one of them were right. This was a mad concoction of her own making.

She awakes in a jolt. It was.. “Just a dream… It was just a dream…” All a dream…

Even so, Abi was on the verge of tears. She couldn't. She just couldn't take it anymore. She had to rid herself of this.

And she knew exactly how. She was going to requilish herself of these pesky ties that bound her.

Getting up, she went over to her closet. “There you are…” Picking up those very same scissors. Her old friend.

With a quick slash of their necks, Molly and Rex are no more. A quiet and peaceful end for the likes of them. They'd never know what hit them.

Two down, one to go. it wasn't hard to find Oreo, pacing back and forth in the bedroom, it was more surprising he didn't wake everyone else up if anything.

He turned to her with a face of concern. “Abi, are you okay?”

Her words stuttered, playing up her previous nervousness. “I-I don't know…” A bland mimicry.

“Look.” He must've still been distraught from today. “There's something I want to talk to you about, but if now isn't the time…”

As he trails off, Abi suddenly jumps into him, stuffing her face into his chest, she nuzzles against him, here she felt safe in his arms.

Wow- This definitely wasn't what he expected, still he stroked her short hair resulting in Abi letting out a soft purr. Heh. She really was more cat than dog.

A moment of respite for them both. But as quickly as it started it ended, with a soft giggle. “I'm sorry.” Abi slashed Oreo in his left eye.

What…?” He steps back in disbelief. No… This couldn't… She wouldn't do this. Someone had to be controlling, possessing her or something!

But it was all Abi, her now dead teal eyes and smirk confirmed it.

Next, his left paw fell right off. “Why…

Then his abdomen was struck, his entrails spilling out.

Until he's dead on the floor.

Abi wanted to laugh her very heart out right then and there, she couldn't have felt more happy in her life. She was free! She was finally free! Nonono, this wasn't just happiness, this was pure unbridled joy! She was at peace… How's that for making up for her actions?!

Now, with those “problems” taken care of she could move onto the main ones. This so called “apocalypse”, getting out of hitch town and finding the perpetrator behind all this.

Though, if her suspicions were true she likely already knew who it is.

BAD END. | Tranquility.
You finally did it, huh? No more running from your problems, you're finally free. For now that is.

If he finds you again, you're likely to be struck down, and if you really do get out this damned town, you're just as lucky to meet your end at the hands of another murderer.

Neither cat nor dog, you really are the worst monster of them all.
