E. Yell at Molly to get out the way!

"Molly!"

Huh...?! A spatial blast ring out, with the three only barely dodging in just the nick of time.

Wait a damned minute. Molly recognized the family crest on that tome anywhere. A marigold flower. "Riley...?!"

"Oh cats..." The golden cat now wearing a yellow outfit akin to Mollys caught her breath as she stood in front of the trio. Maybe she used a little too much force there... "Molly...?!"

Forget about that, she hadn't seen Riley since the incident at the school! "Are you alright, where's Sophie?" Molly just wanted to go up and hug her like did she with Floof.

Nevertheless... Riley littered as she spoke. Those were questions she couldn't answer. "I- I can't..." It made her sick thinking about it even now. "Sophie, she..."

Well come on, spit it out! "She what?"

That's the thing. Riley didn't want to. "I..." More importantly, was Molly really just going to gloss over that? Riley expected better of her.

The pages of her tome flipped through themselves as a bouquet of petals danced out of them. "You do realize what I just tried to do, r-right?!"

Still, Molly offered Riley a warm smile instead. It was unnerving.

"I- I know." She couldn't help it. She wouldn't bring herself to hate a friend like that. No matter how she treated Riley in the past, things can change. There had to be a reason for her actions. "But is there someone forcing you to do this, we can talk it out..." After all, she knew so herself.

Riley, begrudgingly so made out a word. "Yes..." She didn't know if she could even say that even. For all she knew, he could've been watching her right now. "S-Still I can't... I have to...!" She-!

With a raise of Riley's paw, the petals dispersed, aimed right at Molly.

She only barely managed to side step between them, keeping the others safe too.

Still, no matter how fast she was.

No matter how quick she could've evaded.

Molly couldn't beat magic. Especially not a cat like her.

So when she gets hit by a stray blast. When she's on her last legs, when Riley even dares to approach her in the slighest...

She hits her with a roundhouse kick between the legs, couple with a knee right in the chin, knocking Riley down instead of her.

Phew... Pretty good for her, if Molly said so herself. Now... Molly turned her attention to Riley. "Who's forcing you to do this?"

Riley still couldn't. If she did, she might end up like Sophie. Yet, she said who anyways. "Scritch, S-Scritch Stitchin..."

Catching the rather unfortunate attention of a certain border collie as she uttered that name. Abi grabbed Riley by the collar, jostling her. "Who did you just say their name was...?"

Her grip tightened.

"S-SCRITCH STITCHIN!! That's who they are..."

Of course. Of course, of course, of course. She should've fucking known. It just HAD to be HIM, DIDN'T IT?! Everytime, she gets a moment of peace, he always does something.
