"she will be okay." i heard Robin's voice speak softly. "what we had to do, may take a while for her to adjust to."

"Robin," i spoke softly, opening my eyes. Robin turned from my mother, father standing next to him.

"Astraea." Mother rushed to my side, holding my hand.

i looked around, we were home, in the palace of Drakaria, in my own room. "what? what happened?"

Robin rushed to my side, helping me sit up. "your father and i .... we both had to give you a portion of our powers."

i looked at my mother and she nodded, agreeing with what Robin said. "it was the only way to save you my sweet girl."

"what does that mean?" i asked, looking at Robin.

"we will explain all." he spoke softly. "but after we get some food into you."

"how long was i out?" i asked as i felt stiff.

"a few days." father answered as he walked closer. he looked more upset than happy that i was awake. "i am so sorry for what we did to you."

"what?" i looked to Robin.

"food first." he said, he looked back to my father. "we can tell her all once she has eaten. for now, you need to stop this self loathing."

"self loathing?" i moved to try to stand but fell to the ground instead. "just tell me what is going on? to hell with food."

Robin picked me up and placed me back on the bed, kissing my forehead. "after food."

"Robin...." i started to cough, my throat feeling dry.

he handed me a cup of water, i gladly took it and drank it all.

there was a knock on the door. my uncle Alexander stood, holding a plate of food. "i got what you asked." his eyes went wide, "shes awake." he handed Robin the plate.

"i told you i knew when she would awaken." Robin then handed me the food. "eat."

it was a meal of bacon, eggs and toast.

i took a bite of the toast. "there, im eating, now tell me."

"after." he was still talking softly.

"i cant eat with you all watching me." i blushed. "not when none of you are eating."

father reached over and grabbed a piece of bacon. "there, now im eating too."

i chuckled a bit. "fine," i started to eat some of the eggs, picking around the yolk as it was too runny for my liking.

"eat it all." Robin spoke. "you need your strength."

"that is just mean." i laughed. "i dont like runny yolks."

he took my fork from me and picked up to yolk. "open." i did as he said and he shoved it in.

i blushed a bit, chewing the gross runny egg. "that is just mean."

i ate the last bit of the toast. "can i have some more water please?" i asked.

Robin stood and grabbed the water pitcher off of the table, returning and pouring it into my cup.

"thank you." i said as i took the cup. i then ate the last piece of bacon from my plate.

my uncle took the empty plate and fork.

"now that is a good girl." Robin whispered in my ear. the should of that with his deep voice made me shiver, not in a bad way.

"now tell me." i spoke, trying to ignore what he said.

"do you want to tell her or should i?" Robin asked my father.

"just tell her." father leaned against a wall, still looking upset.

"we, because we both gave you some of our powers, you are able to use all of the powers that we both can use." Robin explained. "but it also means that you will live as long as we do, and if one of us die, so will you."

i looked at my father. "why are you so upset about that?"

"because there is more." father spoke. "you have to stay by one of our sides at all times."

"it would make ruling over Drakaria very hard." mother spoke. "Oberon has already agreed to find a way to make it work, but we want to leave it up to you."

"why are you upset about that father?" i asked, confused.

"because what if he hurts you." he answered. "then you will have to stay by my side, i just dont want you to be trapped like this forever."

"i swear, i will never harm her." Robin spoke up.

i looked him in the eyes, then back at my father. "i will be safe father."

"we can be in different rooms, just just cant be too far apart." Robin told me. "and if i ever need to travel, you can either come with me or stay with your father."

"i still want to be queen of Drakaria." i told them. "i think i could do some real good, for not just my people, but for the dark fairies as well."

Robin nodded. "and you will."
