I was home alone anxiously awaiting for Pietro to come home. He had called yesterday and said he would be home today. I'm so excited. I missed him so much. Also I found out I'm pregnant. The phone rang and I jumped to answer it. "Hello?" I asked "ms (y/l/n) can you please come to stark tower?" Why is nick fury calling me? "Uhm sure. Is everything okay?" He hung up before I got an answer. I hurriedly put on my shoes and grabbed my keys. Once I got there tony was waiting outside. "Tony what's going on? Where's Pietro?" I was worried now. "Come inside." I followed him to a room where Bruce, Clint, Steve, Wanda and tony and I were now. "Will someone please tell me what's going on?" I asked now really concerned. "He's gone." Clint mumbled. "What-whose?" I couldn't even finish my sentence before it hit me like a ton of bricks. "No no he can't be" I broke out into sobs and collapsed to the ground. Steve was next to me in a heart beat. We were best friends. "I didn't even get to say goodbye!"

"Can you give us a minute?" Steve asked and the other avengers nodded and walked out of the room. "Steve he can't be gone! I'm pregnant with his baby! What am I going to do!" I sobbed and he rubbed my back. "Y/n I'm not good with these types of things but I know he would have been extremely happy to hear your news. He would have been a good father" the sobs continued as I realized my child would never know their father apart from picture.

"Cmon Skylar its time to go!" I called up to my six year old daughter. "Coming mommy!" She bounded down the steps. She had Pietro's sliverish-blond hair and my (e/c) We got in the car and I drove to stark tower. I was going to visit Pietro's grave today. Sky is still too young to really understand the purpose so she is staying with Steve and Bruce. Wanda was coming with me. I walked in and she instantly went over to Steve. "Hi uncle Steve!!" "Hi sky" he said and bent down to hug her. "Where's uncle Bruce?" "With tony wanna go say hi?" She nodded and he looked to me for permission and I nodded so he picked her up and they were off. "Ready?" Wanda asked as she appeared next to me. "Yeah" we drove for a bit and got out and sat on the grass. "God Pietro I miss you so much. I wish you could see our daughter now. She's so smart. My one regret is I never got to say goodbye to you."
