Sara was sick and tired of being taken for granted. She was tired of being mistreated she was tired of mutilating her skin to help her feel alive. She was tired of being numb and unnoticed. She was tired of being tired.

The wind blew around her as she walked down the street. She shivers and pulls her jacket tighter as the tears fell freely down her rosie cheeks. The soft light of the street lamps keeping her company as she walked briskly to her destination. She feels alone in the world. Little did she know she wasnt.

' No one would ever love me' 'I'm worthless' were the things floating in her head as she got to the bridge and sat on the bench. She was giving up. All she wanted was a friend. Someone to watch out for her.
She was tired of not having a reason to live.

She moved from the bench to the edge of the bridge this was it. She wasted to much time on this earth not being happy. Wasted to much time being sick and tired of not being enough and being a second choice. "you don't have to do this ya know" a voice called from behind her. She turned and saw a man with blond hair and bright blue eyes. "who are you? I don't need a witness. I don't need someone to talk me out of this. I don't want your pity. I don't want any excuse of how it will get better." she seethed and Steve was taken back. "ma'am please. Let me help you. I wasn't going to give an excuse. Only offer a listening ear and a friend." All Sara wanted was someone to listen. "okay." she sighed and climbed down from the edge. "I'm Sara." "I'm Steve Rogers." And in that moment the weight of the world was lifted off Sara's shoulders. She had a friend. A witness.
