Bucky and I were watching some film and I was getting bored of it but he seemed to like it so I didn't say anything. It ended thankfully and I yawned quietly. "I am going to bed buck. Goodnight." I smiled softly and he returned it. "Ill be up later Leah. Goodnight." I nodded and went upstairs putting on one of his shirts and climbed into the bed pulling the covers up to my chin.

I woke with a jolt and looked over at bucky. He was sound asleep and the tears streamed silently down my face. I got up and went to the couch and laid down knowing I couldn't dare tell him about the dream I just had.

I woke this time to someone shaking my shoulder. "Leah why are you on the couch?" I jumped up and scooted far away from him trying not to meet his gaze. "Leah what's wrong? What did I do? I didn't hurt you in my sleep did I?" He started asking a million questions and I felt bad. "Bucky no that's not it." I mumbled and he looked at me funny and cocked his head "what is it then?" "I uh had a nightmare and uhm it started out normal and then I came home to you and our eyes met and-" I burst into tears and he looked extremely confused before he caught on he was on he floor next to me his arm wrapped around me. "I snapped didn't I?" He asked scared and all I could do was nod. "Leah. I promise you I would never do anything to hurt you. It was just a dream. I'm always going to protect you." His words were soothing. "I just get scared bucky. I don't want to be." I cried and he hugged me tighter. "Look in to my eyes Leah" I did as he said. Our eyes met and he smiled. "Trust me. I will do everything in my power to protect you even from myself."
