Means in French: finally
The following day was odd for Danialla as she would be going back to Narnia. After she left Logan's room, she had a run in with King Lance and he realised something was not normal with the young girl. He invited the girl for some tea with him and Queen Astoria, and with a hesitant nod, Danialla spent a few hours with the couple.
They spoke about when they were younger and Danialla learned that Queen Astoria had eleven siblings, a common thing that happened a lot with Ettinsmoor families. They spoke about how they met (which was quite an entertaining story).
It wasn't until later that evening when Danialla retired to her own room. She had to explain that her and Logan would not be courting anymore, seeing as their feelings became unmutal. The royals seemed to understand.
She lay awake in her room, staring at the ceiling. Not soon after she had laid down, she heard a knock come from her room. "Who is it?" she asked, too lazy to get up.
"Lucy," the voice responded. Danialla could tell the sadness in the girl's voice and got up to open the door, "Are you alright?"
The blonde girl looked up at her friend, tears trinkling in her eyes, she hugged the girl, "You're alright."
Danialla closed the door behind her and led the girl towards the bed. "What's wrong, Lu?"
The young girl glanced at her friend, "I'm going to miss Corin so much."
The girl let go of the girl and grabbed her hanky, giving it to the girl, "I know you will, but we will see him again. I know we will."
"But we don't know when. Edmund has been trying to get an alliance with King Lune again, but the man will not budge."
Danialla did not speak, only listening to the girl talking about Corin. She knew that both kids care for each other almost more than their families. After Lucy calmed down, Danialla heard the words that she was not expecting to hear.
"Dana, what does it feel to fancy someone?" the girl tried to think back to her fancying Logan, but only could find the emotions she had for Edmund.
"There's always butterflies that erupt in your stomach anytime you see them for the first time in the day; you always think about their good and bad qualities, preferring their good ones. You always worry if they are going to be okay and what it would be like if you got together with that person," she responded, remembering back when she first thought she liked Edmund.
"Am I too young to feel that?" Lucy asked, looking at the older girl.
With a smile, Danialla shook her head, "No, you are not. My brother first grew feelings for nauvera when he was twelve. You are not too young." She told the young girl. She personally didn't comprehend what the girl meant at first until Lucy smiled softly. "Oh, Lu," Danialla realised and hugged her again.
Lucy only hugged the girl, knowing that Danialla had realised, "Please don't tell Ed."
The friend nodded, "Of course. I pray that Aslan will find a way for you and Corin to see each other."
Lucy thanked her, "Question, why don't we call him Cor?" the girl asked, wondering why.
Danialla smiled, "It just does not sound right, as if there's someone named Cor that is connected to him. You know what I mean?"
Lucy nodded; the explanation made a lot more sense to the girl. "Yeah, it really does feel like that."
The adventure home was quiet, Danialla had told Lucy about her and Logan ending their courtship. Lucy gave an odd expression once the older girl told her this, but did not question it. The two girls agreed not to say anything to Edmund, feeling that it would be even weirder.
