means in Italian: promise, vows

The announcement of Danialla and Edmund's engagement spread like wildfire after they began the official announcement. The two decided that they wanted a late October wedding, and it was only four months when they announced the engagement.

Danialla and Edmund allowed meriel help coordinate and plan the wedding (as they believed she would do an excellent job).

There were conversations between the engaged couple about their future. Danialla was sad that Edmund would not be able to have children with his blood because of her maternity. Every time she had mentioned this case, Edmund would interrupt her with a kiss and tell her that they would figure it out. He loved her more than the thought of having children. He also had told the girl that they had Koa to raise. Danialla was so happy to know that her future husband loved her nephew as much as she had.

The maternity also had spread to the Narnians and some who were not fond of the engagement between Danialla and Edmund spoke that they should not wed because the king needed an heir. This had only broken Danialla's heart and had tried to convince Edmund to cancel the engagement. Thankfully, he had always won the arguments.

Danialla woke up on the October morning as a small smile appeared on her lips. She was aware of what was going to happen, she would become a Consort queen in two weeks because of marrying a royal of Narnia. That was not the reason she was so happy, though. She would be marrying her nemesis that day.

Now, if you would have told her at the age of twelve that she would be marrying King Edmund and later be ruling the country, she would have laughed in your face or dodge a punch at you. Just as she was described when she was twelve, she never was an enthusiastic fan of all the proper things, but she was choosing a life surrounded by it.

Danialla was about to get up, but a little boy ran into the room, shouting about how excited he was. Of course he would, this would be the first wedding that he remembers (he was too young to remember meriel and Peter's). "Aunti Dani! You marrying Eddie today!" he shouted with excitement.

Danialla chuckled at her nephew's excitement and gave him a hug. Edmund and Danialla had a conversation with Koa about the new life that was going to occur a few nights prior. They asked him if it had been okay if he started living in the castle and that he would have to become a royal 'prince' of Narnia. Koa was not too thrilled about the royal part, but nevertheless the boy agreed. Koa was officially three and Edmund turned nineteen just a week before.

"Are you excited, nephew?" she asked with a grin on her face. Of course, she already knew the answer.

"Yes yes yes! I'm going to officially have an uncle today!" he told her.

Danialla chuckled as the boy left his room to get ready to leave with Al in a few minutes. Both would be in the wedding. Koa would be the ring-bearer.

The young woman sighed deeply when she got out her journal. Taking her quill and ink that was beside her bed, she opened it up and started writing.

Today is the day that I never believed would happen. I'm getting married, and it even is to Edmund Pevensie. Just about six and half years ago, I never would believe you if you said I was going to marry that man. Today, I am.

I can't help but to think of Mother, Father, Derek, Tracae, nauvera, and so many other amazing people that I know won't be here today for the wedding. I miss all of them so much, and all of them spoke that I would marry Ed one day, I guess that they were right after all.
