means in Latin - unexpected
The weeks had passed, and it was the middle of summer for the world of Narnia and that meant a lot of festivals and late nights. Danialla and Edmund had been able to keep their relationship private for the time being, even though they had gone to a few festivals and farmers markets together. It was no doubt that there were some Narnians who were getting suspicious of the placed name on the relationship between the two.
Danialla enjoyed the small campfires at night with the townspeople because Koa had started to participate in the dancing and singing. She would laugh every time he would try and mimic the other faun's dance moves. It was the cutest especially when Navadie joined in and the two started to goof off.
One of the festivals that Danialla had gone to, she was able to meet Ellisical and was very excited to meet her, considering after Al had announced his courtship, she was all he could talk about.
"I'm Dani, Al's told me all about you, Ellisical!" Danialla spoke, smiling at the faun.
The faun was petite and around Danialla's height, but you could tell right away that she was a sweet faun. Without warning, Ellisical embraced the girl in a hug, "It's so amazing to finally meet you, Dani. Al has also spoke very highly of you."
Danialla glanced at her best friend and smiled at him, "Trust me, Al hasn't shut up about you," Danialla joked.
Ellisical turned and grinned at her boyfriend with a grin, "I didn't realise that you liked me that much."
Danialla snorted softly and grinned at Al, "Please, for the love of Aslan, keep her."
Ellisical grinned at the boy before he took her in his arms.
The evening passed and Edmund had joined in the small festival after his workload that day. For Koa to say he was happy to see the king is an understatement. The boy was overjoyed over the fact to see him.
Edmund enjoyed spending some time with his girlfriend to experience some of the things the girl had done with she was younger after enduring the winter.
A few of the Narnians did ask the king why he decided to go that night, only to reply that he wanted to see what some of his people enjoyed doing. Some believed that it was the full reason, while others were suspicious. The centaur women were the biggest threat because of their high intuition.
Although the secret was let out that night when Edmund and Danialla were dancing and when the song ended, he dipped her into a kiss in front of the Narnians. With the Narnians being the gossipers that they were, word was told around many villages by the following evening.
Edmund and Danialla figured that it wasn't necessary for the two to announce their courtship because of the Narnians already knowing the following evening, but Susan and meriel had practically forced the two to make arrangements for an announcement for all of Narnia and neighbouring alliance countries. So, that was what the two were getting ready for.
Danialla believed that they shouldn't have to dress up just to say that they were courting, but Danialla was placed into a forest green dress and had her hair done in a nice down hairstyle.
Caka smiled when she had finished putting the last flower in the girl's hair, "You're all ready, Dana."
Danialla smiled at the girl and thanked her, "You are extremely talented as a hairdresser, Caka."
The Telmarine smiled softly, "Well, you do get a lot of practice when you were locked up with a few other girls in a room for months on end."
Danialla frowned, it was the first time the young runaway had spoken about her life from Calormen with her. She knew the girl was very private.
