As Charlton and Jarad run on stage to Scream 'GO' Jahseh call me up, asking where I was.
"KALI WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?" He shouts down the phone.
I just laugh, kind feeling bad tho
"Calm down Jah, I'm at the Concert. I'm just vibing to the music, I finna go on with Stoke and Jarad soon anyway" I tell him
"You should have told me! Left at note, anything! Given our history, I would think we both know better that to up and leave without explanation!" He yells, but not as worried.
I'm a bit shocked he throw that back at me, but I shake it off. They ain't non point kicking off with people over little things, it's a waste of time that we just don't have
"Ok, Jah. Ok. We were both having a nap in yo bed, and then I woke up and realised I needed to go get ready. You was still asleep, lookin like an angel, so I left yo to it. Sorry if I scared you, I just thought you would know where I was since that the only reason im down here in Florida is cuz of this show." I explain to him calmly.
After a while, I say to him I finna go on in 2 songs and I need to get my mic set up. The second I say that it sounds like he jumps off the bed and starts putting his shoes on.
What is this nigga doing? He tell me to stay there and tell Stokely to be prepared? What the fuck do that mean?
Jahseh POV
I jump in my i8 (if yk yk RIP🕊️🕊️🕊️) start driving. They is performing outside tonight on some random field. Me and Stokely did our first concert there.
I keep driving, about 10 mins from Parkland to Lauderhill. I pull up at the field and instantly hear rowdy screaming and lights from the stage. I lock the car and walk up to the crowd. I make it past security and find myself on stage, right as Kali walks on stage.
She begins singing one of her songs, and luckily, it so happens that a mash up of her song and my song 'going down!' Went viral last year. So of course I finna do that shit
I grab a mic and when the beat drops I run on stage and immediately start screaming 'GOING DOWN, ITS GOING DOWN'
Kali looks at me, clearly shocked I'm even here, but she starts fw it and starts jumping and screaming with me.
As the song ends, I decide to announce that me and her are together. It's gonna be hell answering all our fans questions about it, but fuck it.
I look at her in awe, amazed by the amazing person and rapper she's become. I throw the mic to the edge of the stage, and I pull her in for a kiss. Everyone in the crowd goes crazy, screaming in surprise and hopefully happiness.
I pull away slightly and tell her I love her.
She smiles back at me and tells me she loves me too. I kiss her again, and I reluctantly walk off stage, to let her do the rest of her set.
I do a couple of songs with Ski, join in with the couple of Jarads that I know, and afterwards, we head back.
This is Their last night in Florida before they go back to Chicago, so w have to make it count. And what better way to say goodbye to Jarad then showing how we do things in Broward? I tell ski what we're gonna do, and he immediately gets excited.
Jarad, Charlton, Kali and Ski follow me backstage, up a couple stairs and up into the balcony of the stage.
I yell at the DJ to play 'Take A Step Back' Normally I would play 'Look At Me' but since this isn't technically my show, we'll do something me and Ski did.
Me and him climb up onto the edge, and we hang off the edge, ready to jump.
'NOW I NEED YOU ALL TO LISTEN!' I scream at the crowd underneath me 'WHEN THE BEAT DROPS, ME AND SKI ARE GONNA DROP ONE AFTER THE OTHER, THEN JUICE, THEN LAROI, THEN KALI! WE NEED YOU ALL TO CATCH US! CAN YALL DO THAT?' I tell them
They all scream back, telling us to drop. So we play the song, and me and ski dance to the beat. When I hear my scream over the speakers, I Get up, turn around, and fall backwards into the crowd.
My adrenaline is pumping as I feel loads of hands underneath me, helping me back to the stage. A couple second later, I see Ski drop. The crowd pulls us both back to the stage.
My verse ends, and right before the Skis verse starts, I see the other 3 clump up on the edge. Jarad looks pumped, Charlton looks a lil scared, and Kali has gone white in the face.
Jarad jumps when the beat drops again, and he practically swims over to the stage. Then Charlton drops. When he gets back to us it's clear he ain't scared no more. I look up at Kali. She looks scared, and she gives me a 'help me now' look.
I give her an encouraging nod and after a couple seconds she shrugs, turns around like me and jumps back into the crowd. I help pull her up. She's shaking with adrenaline, but she's got the biggest smile on her face. Jsut looking at her makes me feel happy.
Kali POV
I manically stare back at Jah. I can't believe I just did that! I've always wanted to jump, ever since I saw videos of him going it at his first large scale show.
He holds me waist as Jarad says goodbye to all his fans, and officially closing his US tour.
He hold my waist the whole way backstage, helping me down the stairs (even though I don't need help, it jsut feels good to have him beside me.)
He holds my waist as me and him get in the car, and drive a little ahead of the tour bus.
Even when he's driving, he was one hand in my thigh. Everytime he gently moves his thumb in circles, it sends shivers up my spine.
Damn this man can make me feel things...
