Kali POV

Holy shit. What jsut happened!?

I thought he wouldn't hurt me. I was wrong.
I thought I knew him. I was clearly wrong.

Stokely rushes over to me while Charlton and Jarad make sure Jahseh gets out the room.

'Damn shawty you good? I don't fucking know what jsut happened vro' he tells me

'I um... I think...' I cough. It hurts to even talk 'I can't... can't speak'

Stoke nods, and right as he went to speak, we hear a thud in the hallway. Jarad shouts for Stokely to come over.

We both jump up and find Jahseh on the floor, clearly unconscious. I drop to the floor, trying to see if he was okay.

His eyes flutter open for a couple seconds, and he reaches for me cheek, gently holding my face in his hands. Despite what he had just done to me, I still let him hold me.

Then his eyes close again, showing that he's unconscious

Jahseh POV

my eyes shoot open, and I have no idea where I am. I look around, trying to look for something familiar. But everything is jsut white and blurry. I can't see anything.

'Jahseh?' A female voice asks. I know that voice, so that's a good sign.

I feel a hand on mine, and slowly the colour returns to the world. I recognise the room as mine, and see the person is Kali.

Then I remember. Hurting her. I see the bruises on her neck, and immediately feel sick to my stomach.

I turn my head away, and pull my hand from hers. She looks hurt, but it's different. She's confused.

'I um... are you... yeah...' I try to speak to her, but I can't face the face that I've caused her so much pain.

She just shakes her head 'you don't have to say anything right now. But I'm gonna speak. I don't know what the fuck happened to you, but I know it wasn't you. No sane person can switch up in a heartbeat. Which is why as soon as your up and we'll, your going to the doctors. We'll get you seen, and maybe they can give us a solution for the things you be hearing'

She's so calm. How? If she had done that to me I'd be out the house in a heartbeat.

I look up at her, still with so much remorse. The only words I can bare to say are 'I love you'

She gives me a weak smile. 'I know. I love you too.'

I lean my head back in my pillow, and before I close my eyes, I place my hand back in hers.

I know what I've done. I can't take that back. But imma do everything I possibly can to never ever let that happen again. I can't jsut let these things take over me.

After a while, Kali leaves to tell the others im okay. We had spent the last 30 mins or so in silence. But it wasn't uncomfortable, it was familiar.
