4 YEARS LATER
I ran as fast and hard as I could. I slowly made my way through the United States.
I came from Ohio but I was noow in Montana. The scenery here was beautiful. I absolutely loved it.
I knew I couldn't stay long cause my father was on my tail and was tracking me. I could not go back. I have turned rogue.

If another pack caught me on their territory they could easily kill me. They could also return me to my father. If my father caught me, he would beat me to death.

I ran until I felt a shimmer and realized I was in another pack territory. I ran faster, so as not to get caught.

Then I came to a beautiful clearing. I stopped to stare. It had a waterfall and pond under it. The trees were a healthy green color.

I took a deep breath in. It smelled fresh, clean, and relaxing.

I gasped when I heard a growl from behind.

I turned quickly and saw a grey wolf, taller than me, standing in front of me. It was ready to pounce.

I turned to run but the wolf jumped onto my wolf and shoved a needle into the back of my neck.

I howled in pain and passed out.

Once I gained light, I was in a cell. Silver bars. Great. No getting free.

I noticed I was hearing footsteps and looked up to see a tall guy with black hair. He was stylish but not for me.

I screamed at him when he picked me up and carried me out a long hallway. I was scared but wanted free.

I was set in front of a huge black wolf with specks of brown in its fur.
'Do not fear me,' the wolf said to my head.

I knew they had pack links but he must be alpha. Only alphas are able to talk to a rogue in their but only before they die.

'Please don't,' I cried.

Then our worlds' collided as our eyes met. Spark'a flew. My heart ached.
He changed backed quickly and growled lowly at the man. The man backed away and ran into the woods.

"I'm Luke," he growled. "And your my mate, my life, and my mind."

Luke laughed and stared down at me.
"Your mine," Luke growled into my ear lowly.

What? Did I hear him correctly?

There's no way. I can't. I have to run. My father will find me. He's only a few states back.

I started to back away but Luke only took steps forward. I turned and ran through the woods quickly. I could hear someone chasing me.

I looked back for a second and saw the grey wolf that had caught me on the border. I pushed harder, trying to run faster.

Since I'm a beta's daughter I can pretty fast but the wolf behind must have been full-blown beta.

He gained speed and I looked back for a second. Big mistake.

I ran right into a tree. I let a soft whimper escape my lips. The wolf charged at me and grabbed my neck with his teeth.

He must not have known I was his alpha's mate.

He was ripped off of me and thrown up against another tree. I saw Luke standing in his majestic wolf form, panting. I didn't even notice he was behind us.

I tried to get up swiftly but Luke noticed me and jumped to my side. He stared for a second and I knew he was talking to someone in the pack link. He then looked down at me.

He shifted quickly and stood tall and proud. He was atleast 6'0" and had gorgeous dark hair. His eyes were brown one minute, and black the next.
I backed up against the tree and put my head down to the ground out of respect. I was on his territory and he was the alpha. I was just a free spirit.

"Shift," Luke said.
