I woke up to a warm bed. I reached out finding only empty sheets.

"Luke," I whispered as I sat up to another empty thing.

He was no where to be seen but there was a small note taped to the door.

I got up, my feet hitting his cold hard wood floors and slowly walked over, picking up the note and reading it.

'Dear Lynne,

I had to go out for a bit to finish up some Alpha work and border patrols. I will be back by 3:00 pm and I would like to take you out. Wear something casual. Oh and breakfast is ready down stairs. Have a good day baby. See you soon love.

Love,
Luke.'

Great. A whole day without him. Atleast he left breakfast.

I took a quick shower, threw on blue jeans and a tee shirt.

I ran down stairs to find a plate of bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, and a glass of orange juice sitting cold and ready beside all that yummy food. The aroma hit my nose and I say down, digging in quickly.

I ate then set my plate and glass in the sink. I walked to the Game Room, knowing exactly where it was, what games I loved playing, and how to set it all up.

I say down in a blue bean bag chair grabbing the remote, turning on the TV, and then looking for my controller. I found it under the bed and reached for it.

I laid on the floor and stretched out reaching, almost grabbing it but my fingers slipped only causing it to scoot further away.

So I got up and walked out looking around for someone. Anyone.

"Uhm. Hello?!" I asked the wind. "Anyone out there?!"

"Maybe. What is it you need sweet heart?"

I spun around to see a tall black haired and brown eyed guy leaning on the door frame.

"Nothing," I quickly replied. "Just looking for my mate, Alpha Luke."

"Ah. The little Luna," he bowed slightly as if I were his queen and he was being a smartass. "Luckily for you, Luke and I happen to be good friends. I'm Chase. Your new guard for the day."

Chase held out his hand. But something was off. Something was wrong. I knew him from somewhere yet it wouldn't click.

I slowly extended my hand towards him before it all rushed towards me like a freight train straight into a flash back.

My....no. No no. My brother.

I quickly turned on my heel screaming out for Luke and bolting down stairs towards the front door. I knew Chase was close behind but I pushes myself out the door feeling for a connection between Luke and I.

"LUKE!!!!!" I screamed desperately as I ran in the direction I felt was right. "LUKE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!"

"He can't hear you sweetie!" I heard Chase yell from close behind me. "He's busy."

"NO!!! LUKEEEEEEE!!!!!"

I pumped my legs faster feeling them tremble and start to give out as I stumbled forwards a couple more steps. My legs gave out and I fell straight on my chest, loosing my breath.

Chase flipped me around a shimmer in his wicked eyes. "Father will be so proud of me."
