Chapter 10

Owen and I have been on the run for alittle over a week. Last I heard Luke was trying to find me. He had a price to be paid to whoever found me. He also wanted Owen dead. Turns out he's VERY possessive.

My little baby was doing just fine. I decided she needed some source of milk so Owen ran to find the nearest hospital. He 'borrowed' some of the baby bottles and formula. We made it work.

Owen, I found out, was actually 19. He lived a rough life and excepted being a rouge. Although we have not broke the pack link between him and his alpha Luke. But we were doing it today.

I found out my brothers had no ideas what was going on. Except from the fact that our father told them that I killed mom and beat my father then ran. Which was a lie.

Owen and I talked often and eventually we came to an agreement. We would set up in his cabin alittle outside the pack territory. We would have to move soon to somewhere safe but for now this would work. I found that I kinda liked it.

There was only one bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchen and living room joined. Owen and I took turns sleeping on the bed. He would sleep there one night and then I would sleep there one night.

Mimi decided that wherever I slept that was where she would sleep. She also got used to my human form. But she preferred my wolf.

My wolf BEGGED for me to make a move with Owen but I just couldn't. I wasn't trusting enough and I honestly got attached to Luke. I kinda felt bad betraying him like that. He didn't deserve to be stuck with a mate like me. I really should get back to him.

Owen was out hunting at the moment and I was braiding my hair into a French braid. I decided to wear jean shorts and a beautiful golden bikini top on. I had the bottom on under my shorts. I planned to take a swim later in the nearby pond.

Owen should be back in another hour or so and I figured to pass time I could relax and get a tan while also swimming. I had went to a local store and bought a few things. One thing I forgot was a swimming trunks for Owen, tooth paste, and a new blanket for Mimi.

As much as I hated to admit I missed my brother. For my other brother me and him never really got along. He was never home. I don't know why he only came around when our father wanted him to. Other than that I've only ever saw him twice in my life.

The brother I truly missed, Derek was kind to me and always seemed to know what I wanted. He always cared why I was doing when I was doing it how I was doing it and why I was doing it.

Derek was the only one who truly loved me other than my mother.

After sitting by the water for alittle, I lost track of time. I fell into a deep sleep having a horrible nightmare.

I was shaken awake by a very confused and concerned Owen. I sat up immediately and looked around frantically. Mimi licked my face and I pet her reluctantly. Soon I found myself remembering every second of my nightmare as if it were really happening. I spun in circles trying to get it to go away. And that's when I realized.

It wasn't a nightmare. It was the future. It was telling what was to come.

"What's wrong?!" Owen asked worriedly. "Are you ok?! What happened?"

"I had a nightmare. No it was more of a 'seeing the future' kinda thing," I replied, grimly.

"What did it tell you?" He asked another question. One I dreaded answering.

"He's coming. Right now."
