The human. It was all the human's fault. Everything I (we) gone through was all because of the human, so much resets, so much time stuck somewhere...
Cross shows up at IceBound, with Siren following right behind.
Cross: Hey, I've got a question. How do you know all these routes? The routes to get to the universes, I've only learnt one and that's how to get to the original universe and I still got it wrong ending up at StoryShift.
X Chara: Here's the thing, the only route that's hard to remember is the one to the original universe. Everything else is connected in a straight line, it's easy to know where the other AUs are at if we know where the original is. I suppose you did end up being a bit off but StoryShift is one right next to the original.
Cross arrives at a door, it opens.
Icebound Toriel: You, you're not a human, what are you doing here?
Cross: (One more soldier won't hurt I suppose).
Cross stabs her. A giant X forms upon Toriel.
Cross: Tell me, what is this place?
They walk through the house.
Icebound Toriel: This place used to be a lively place. But I'm not sure what happened. One day, I heard a big explosion, and everything was frozen, almost all the weaker monsters were killed. Ever since then, this place has been frozen.
Cross: Is that all?
Icebound Toriel: That's all I know.
X Chara: You know, this Toriel, seems extremely pale. If we let her out, she's going to freeze to death soon.
Cross: You're right.
Skeletons have a thick heavy endoskeleton protecting their blood flow, so they don't fear the cold.
Icebound Toriel: What?
Cross and Siren leave the front door. The glitchy X above Toriel disappears.
Icebound Toriel: Huh, why am I here?
The Ice Blossom
A flower fuelled by the energy of the core and fused with the magic of the Soul of Frost. They glow at night a scarlet purple.
"So this is what you came for?"
X Chara: Oh what? What are you gonna complain now? I swear almost every time I make a decision you and your stupid skull always manages to c-
Cross: I wanted to tell you that they are beautiful.
...
X Chara: Alright uhhhhhh.
X Chara slowly fades into the background.
The blossoms glitch away to be stored. Cross walks further as he stores away everything.
Cross: Weird, I thought Ink said there were still people here.
*Sniff sniff*
Cross: I smell, dust?
X Chara: I don't remember this being a genocide timeline.
Cross looks and sees several drops of blood. It's sends a trail. As he goes a few steps further, he sees a disconnected leg. It's still bleeding out, it is still fresh.
AHHH!
He rushes to a cabin, where the sound came from. There as he opened, revealed a Frisk with a leg missing. There was a hole through the other side of the cabin. It had been broken down.
X Chara: It's not the human that's committing the genocide?
"Frisk?! Frisk!"
Icebound Papyrus arrives at the cabin to see Cross. And, a disfigured Frisk.
Cross: Hey, hey! This i-
Icebound Papyrus immediately summons his axe to attack Cross. Cross easily dodges, Icebound Papyrus is only slightly stronger than X-Papyrus.
Cross: Jus-
Icebound Papyrus sends multiple bones flying at Cross.
X Chara: It doesn't seem as if he wants to talk.
Cross drops the bones he caught.
Cross: Right. In that case.
Siren Sans immediately blitzes Icebound Papyrus and sends him flying into a house.
Icebound Papyrus: Aghhh!
Icebound Papyrus tries to summon more bones but Siren Sans rips apart his arms. And stops.
Cross begins walking towards Icebound Papyrus with his blade. Icebound Papyrus musters all his strength to stand up, as Cross arrives in front of him. Multiple bones pierce through Icebound Papyrus' legs, holding him still as Cross has his sword held high.
...
Until suddenly. Someone else pierces through him.
"Let me do it for you."
