« explanation »

this contest is going to be a collab contest where you'll be pairing up with any person of your choice to design a "character card" based on historical figures. these historical figures can be any real, influential people of the past in the fields of royalty, war, science, literature etc.

there are a lot of collectible cards out there which contain a set of different characters on each card. for this contest, you'll be designing two character cards with your partner-in-design.

how you go about working on this is up to you— one can work on the base for both the cards while the other finishes them OR you can individually work on each card.

for non-typography designs, the text need not be eye-catching but should be readable to swiftly identify the character depicted ^^

« requirements »

· teamwork | don't abandon your partner until you've submitted the design. the work done by each person should be split 50-50 with their partner.

· singles | if you don't have a designer friend to participate with, you can enter your name in the "join in singles" section at the end of this chapter. from there, if any other participant wishes to join, they can ask you to pair up with them!

· face | only the front face of the card is required.

· theme & style | while you can work in any style you want, make sure that both the cards look like they belong to the same deck!
