Notes:
SURPRISE! YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING DID YOU?!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)~*~*~*~
To say this was the worst day for the four girls was an understatement. Four large logs of wood were attached to the ceiling ground, glowing metal chains wrapped around their upper body, preventing them from moving.
"Akako-chan...", Aoko said in pity as she looked at the girl on her right, who was staring at the ground with a faceless expression.
A quick flashback happened as Akako sniffed.
"Akaza... What do you think happened to my parents?", 7-year-old Akako asked the imp.
He blinked a few times before shrugging, "I don't know, Akako-sama. I wish I truly knew.".
"It... it was his doing... right?", She mumbled and Akaza did not answer so she decided to continue, "He sent me a letter saying my Non-Magi father cheated on my Magi mother... I didn't believe him... and he spoke about killing Non-Magi since they're like my father...".
"Indeed... He's a liar Akako-sama", Akaza mumbled but his eyes widened once he saw Akako pulling out a silver pact from her pocket.
And then she burned it in her hand, destroying it completely.
"My parents are dead now... You don't have to continue serving me... The ones who saved you and you decided to repay them with your life... They're gone now...", She said solemnly, "You're now free to go, Akaza. Go, live your life.".
Akaza blinked a few times before he smiled warmly as tears started filling his eyes, "This would've been great... if it was before you came... you're the daughter of the people I'm grateful to the most, and the best kid I've ever seen...".
"So, my first decision as a free Imp, is to serve you Akako-sama, at least until you're old enough to live alone.", Akaza said making Akako start to cry immediately.
"Akaza!", She sniffed as she hugged the imp who immediately returned the hug, and both started crying and sniffing, feeling emotional from the moment.
At that moment, Akako let go of her emotions, allowing her tears to fall like waterfalls down her face.
Kazuha, who was next to Aoko on the other side, looked with pity towards the remaining girl who was on her other side; Sonoko, who was already crying, her eyes puffy and red from so, with her sniffing loud and clear.
"Quiet!", Snake hissed in anger. Kazuha raised her head to glare at him and that's when she saw what was being done.
An upside-down star was drawn with blood, with a candle placed at each edge of the star. Several men, too many that she couldn't count, all muscular and tall wearing black, were present.
"Are you sure this will work?", Jinpachi asked from where he stood next to Snake, behind the Magi who was standing at the top edge of the star.
"Indeed, this will summon a demon that will grant us all our wishes, when we sacrifice the souls, he required. Only a few lines left to be drawn.", The man nodded.
"Sacrifice?!", Aoko cried in horror.
"Souls required?!", Kazuha cried in horror and confusion.
"Indeed, this demon wants four teenage female souls with the following description,", The Magi paused before he pointed at Kazuha, "A girl of raw strength,", he then pointed at Aoko, "A girl connected to enforcement,", he then pointed at Sonoko, "A girl with money.", and then he smirked viciously, "And a girl with great magi power.".
