Chapter 35: Crimson Love Letter III [New Threat]

Ryu slowly walked into the manor, the look of shock and horror on his face under the helmet.

The former prime minister, Ooka Satoru, had his head separated from his body, lying in a pool of blood. His son, Renjji, was impaled on a large spike. As for his wife, Sumire, she was hanged on the wall, dangling from multiple wooden arrows stabbing her everywhere in her body.

He looked around, searching for Iori, Momiji, and Soshi. The first thing he noticed was Soshi's personal gauntlet, thrown aside, but no sign of him or Momiji.

Ryu then heard the sound of someone groaning in pain, so he looked to his left, and he found Iori lying on the ground, on top of him, a rumble of rocks.

Ryu rushed to him and lifted off the rocks, crying, "What the hell happened here?!"

Iori glanced at him and mumbled weakly, "Ojousama... Okita... Abducted..."

"Who did this?" Ryu asked as he helped Iori stand, but the man could not, feeling most of his bones broken. It was a miracle he had even survived.

Ryu helped him lie down properly as he sent a signal for medical help, listening to Iori's words.

"Blue woman... Green man... Pink-haired man... and... and..." Iori coughed, feeling his eyelids heavy. "The Power Rangers..."

And he fell unconscious.

Ryu's eyes widened in horror. He knew his friends did not do this, but if Iori said this...

'Shit... Akuma has his own Ranger team... Evil Rangers...' Ryu thought.

Somewhere Unknown,

Madeira smirked at the sight in front of her; Soshi and Momiji were placed inside separate cylindrical tubes, with machines attached to their brains, while metallic tentacles held them, both unconscious.

She then turned around once Saké walked in, Mifune and Scorpion behind him.

"Well, if it isn't our infamous sharpshooter," Madeira greeted Scorpion.

"I'm surprised you let me walk free, I thought I was going to be one of your lab rats like the other criminals," Scorpion said.

"If we are going to face FAUSD, we are going to need more than just some robots, even if the Ultranoids are good. Mutant criminals are the best choice," Madeira explained, watching as Mifune walked toward the cylinders that held Soshi and Momiji.

"Who are they? Why aren't they being experimented on like the others?" He asked.

"They have much greater importance than those criminals," Madeira explained.

Mifune was about to ask something else, until he heard the sounds of gruesome screams of multiple men and women, and then, a man broke through the door, panting for breath, looking around for an escape.

When his eyes landed on Madeira, he froze from the cold look she sent toward him, and when she smirked, he let out a scream of fear.

"PLEASE! PLEASE! LET ME GO!" He cried as he turned, willing to run away.

He did not get the chance, because Madeira fired a bullet from a strange gun she held. Once the bullet hit his brain, the whole head exploded into pieces, and the headless body fell onto the ground.

Saké smirked, Mifune looked shocked, while Scorpion was impressed, looking from the dead body toward the gun in Madeira's hands.

"Here," Madeira said, throwing the gun at Scorpion. The latter caught it and admired the weapon. It resembled a normal Glock but the muzzle and grip were longer, with no sight of the magazine, but the grip had a symbol of a battery. It was colored silver, with the grip being black while the battery symbol was red.
