Outside in the courtyard, daytime. Oliver and Harry appear, carrying a trunk. They put it down.
"Quidditch is easy enough to understand. Each team has seven players. Three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and a Seeker. That's you. There are three kinds of balls." Oliver says then goes to pick up a red one. "This one's called the Quaffle. Now, the chasers handle the Quaffle and try to put it through one of those three hoops that's your sister's job" Oliver says with a slight smile and blush to his cheeks before he continues then points to the hoops in the Quidditch pitch in the distance. "The keeper, that's me, defends the hoops. With me so far?" Oliver asked
Kol crosses his arms grumbling at the boy who obviously had a crush on his girl Iris noticing his pouting face kisses his pout making Kol smile brightly and pull her closer into his arms.
Iris chuckles at the action and looks at Rebekah mouthing the words big baby to her making Rebekah laugh loudly causing her brothers to give her strange looks.
"I think so. What are those?" Harry questioned wondering why the boy's face went red at the mention of his sister Oliver looked and saw the boy pointing to the two squirming chained-down balls.
"You better take this," Oliver says before he hands Harry a small bat. He bends down and releases one ball. With an angry growl, it flies off into the air. The two boys watch it. "Careful now, it's coming back" he shouts the ball comes whizzing down, and Harry cracks at it with the bat. The ball soars off through a statue, surprisingly without damaging it. "Not bad, Potter. You'd make a fair Beater. Uh-oh." Oliver says noticing the ball is zooming down Oliver grabs it, wrestling to get it back in the box. He succeeds and is out of breath.
"That was attractive," Marlene said others nodding in agreement.
"Whoa," the twins said agreeing with Oliver that he would have made a good beater but he was an even better seeker.
Sirius stands up and cheers while proudly saying "He gets it from his godfather" flipping his hair while saying it before Remus pulls him back down. "Ow Moony! Careful with the hair," Remus rolled his eyes in reply.
"What was that?!" Harry asked surprised "Bludger. Nasty little buggers. But you are a Seeker. And the only thing I want you to worry about is this. The Golden Snitch" Oliver tells the first-year boy and hands Harry a walnut-sized golden ball.
"I like this ball," Harry says looking at the ball mesmerized.
Sirius snorts causing people to look strangely at him he just waves them off trying to not laugh. When people aren't looking anymore he leans into Remus and whispers "He also gets his love for balls from me to it seems." Remus goes bright red in embarrassment causing Sirius to laugh Klaus puts his head in his hands really getting tired of his werewolf hearing.
"Ah, you like it now. Just wait. It's wicked fast and damn near impossible to see" Oliver tells Harry.
"What do I do with it?" Harry questions still staring at the ball intently.
"You catch it. Before the other team's Seeker. You catch this, the game is over. You catch this, Potter, and we win" Oliver informs the younger boy as both of them watch the ball flutter out two delicate wings and jump into the air. Harry keeps an eye on it. "whoa!!" Harry says watching as it flutters off.
Later in Professor Flitwick's class. Flitwick is very short and is standing on a bunch of books to make up for his stature and to see his class. "One of a wizard's most rudimentary skills is levitation, or the ability to make objects fly. Uh, do you have your feathers?" the Professor asks the class. Good. Now, uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing. Hmm? The swish and flick. Everyone" Flitwick instructs his class.
