Later, when all of the first years were sorted in their houses, all of the students were talking to each other. McGonagall dings on a cup to gain everyone's attention for Dumbledore.

Dumbledore stood up from his chair and called out "Let the feast... begin." Food magically appears on all the tables, and the hall is filled with awe and chatter.

" Wow," Harry says seeing all the food Iris's eyes go wide with all the options used to only getting the leftover scraps after making sure Harry eats.

Iris fidgets with her fingers not liking all the pitying looks Kol noticing sends a deathly glare to everyone who is looking at his girl.

Draco looks at all the food, raises his eyebrows, and digs in. Ron meanwhile is already stuffing his face.

Hermione shakes her head at her husband's table manners that still have got no better gives Ron a look causing Ron to shrug and defensively say "You act like you weren't aware of my love for food don't be jealous of my one true love Hermione!" Causing others around to chuckle at the couple.

"I'm half and half. Me dad's a Muggle. Mam's a witch. Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out" Harry hears a boy named Seamus say to Neville who laughs.

Harry is sitting next to Percy with Iris on his other side. He leans over and asks  "Say,  who's that teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?" "Oh, that's Professor Snape," Iris tells him he is the one who took me to Diagon Alley he used to be friends with Mom. Harry's eyes go wide upon hearing that the creepy man used to be friends with their mom. "What's he teach?" Harry asked Percy "Potions, But everyone knows it's the Dark Arts he fancies. He's been after Quirrell's job for years." Percy informs Harry.

Lily though she is no longer friends with Snape after he called her that awful name still has hope he would never treat any of her children badly.

Ron, having just finished a chicken wing, reaches into the bowl for more, and a ghost, called Sir Nicolas, pops out "Ahh!" Ron yells out in shock.

"Hello! How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor" The ghost says to the table who is looking shocked at him.

Numerous ghosts come pouring from the walls, sailing along. "Whoo-hoo-hoo!"

Hope feeling scared hides in between her Dad and Iris causing the two adults to smile softly at her Klaus pulls her close to him while Hope grabs Iris's hand. Iris squeezes it in reassurance for the little girl causing Hope to smile. Hayley meanwhile frowns at her daughter not seeking comfort from her. She rubs her pregnant belly feeling sad Elijah noticing her frown grabs her hand trying to make her feel better.

"Look, it's the Bloody Baron!" a girl yells out.

"Hello, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice summer?" Percy says to the ghost at the Gryffindor table. "Dismal. Once again, my request to join the headless hunt has been denied." Sir Nick replies and then begins to leave before Ron yells out"I know you! You're Nearly Headless Nick!"

"I prefer Sir Nicholas if you don't mind," the ghost corrects Ron. Hermione asks "Nearly" headless? How can you be nearly headless?" "Like this"He grabs his head and pulls it to the side. His head is hanging on just by a thread."Ahh!" Ron yells out while Hermione and Iris moan in disgust; Harry just simply rolls his eyes. Nick reattaches his head back to his body.

Rebekah, Lily, and Marlene look disgusted at the ghost, especially for doing that when people are eating.

Later, Percy leads the Gryffindors to the staircase tower. "Gryffindors, follow me, please. Keep up. Thank you" he yells out to the first years and new students. "This is the most direct path to the dormitories. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change" he continues.
