Brother's Keeper (wtm)

Floo Powder

Mrs. Weasley picks up a pot from the mantel and turns back toward the Potter siblings "You first, Harry dear." She offers Harry a flowerpot. At the bottom is a layer of very soft dust. Harry frowns in confusion.

Ron in concern for his friend says "But Harry's never traveled by Floo powder before, Mum." At the same time, Harry questions "Floo Powder?" Iris knows what it is from reading one of her books but is still nervous about trying it especially her brother knowing he can't speak clearly to save his life most of the time.

Harry beyond offended by his sister's words turns towards her with a glare "That is not true!" Only to huff when his friends and even his fiance nod in agreement with Iris. Iris looks at her brother "Do you not remember what happened that day!" Harry goes to retort but actually does suddenly remember and immediately closes his mouth turning around sheepishly.

Mrs. Weasley remembers they didn't grow up in the wizarding world and nods in agreement with her son. "Oh, well, you go first, Ron. So that Harry can see how it's done. Yes, In you go. That's it."

Once Ron is fully in he yells "Diagon Alley!" as he throws down the Floo Powder and disappears in a burst of green flames.

The Mikaelsons who have never seen anything like it even Klaus look shocked at the screen. Kol starts excitedly shaking Iris's shoulder asking her if he could do that in the future too. Iris laughing at his antics nods her head making Kol even more excited to get magic back. Thinking that being a core witch sounds a lot more fun than being an ancestral witch.

Iris seeing her brother is still nervous steps forward offering to go first so he can see one more time. Mrs. Weasley smiles thinking Iris is so sweet before nodding towards her with a warm smile helping her in and reminding her to speak clearly and throw it towards her feet. Iris nodded before doing just that. Mrs. Weasly smiled proudly and clapped her hands before turning back to Harry.

Iris mumbles out "Still didn't help..." Harry hearing her gives her a playful glare before turning his glare to his supposed fiance who laughs at what Iris said. Draco sees his fiance pouting face and chuckles before kissing him making Harry go red in the face and turn back to the screen. 

Little James sees his uncle turning red and nervously starts shaking his mother's arm in a panic before yelling out "Uncle Harry is turning into a tomato!" Iris and Kol along with the maurders start dying of laughter seeing the little boy still pointing towards the now mortified Harry. Klaus and the Mikaelsons also join in finding the situation adorable and hilarious. 

Elijah chuckles more subtly than the others before abruptly stopping realizing how alike his precious Nephew is to his brother and mumbles out "God help us all..."

Mrs. Weasley turns back to Harry smiling encouragingly "You see? It's quite easy, dear. Don't be afraid. Come on. Come on. In you go. That's it. Mind your head. That's right. Now, take your Floo powder. That's it, very good. Now, don't forget to speak very, very clearly."

Harry nods before shouting out "Diagonally."

Mrs. Weasley walks up closer turning back to her husband asking confused "What did he say, dear?"

Mr. Weasley with his hands on his hips and a perplexed look says "Diagonally." Mrs. Weasley worriedly says "I thought he did.

Lily who hasn't used the Floo Network much turns to James worriedly asking "That is not that different right? He should still end up close." Only to frown at the look James gave her no longer feeling reassured.

Harry lands violently in Borgin and Burkes, breaking his glasses. He is surrounded by strange and sinister objects, and he looks at them curiously. When he touches a disembodied hand, it suddenly grabs him, but he manages to free himself.
