After Adrian left to parts unknown, Jaden, Haru and the others leave in order to search for Jesse after learning that was still out there.
Jaden: 'I know you're out here. I can feel it in my gut.'
Blair: I don't like this! Not even a little!
Crowler: Jaden! Where are we going?!
Sora: To find Jesse.
Crowler: Again?! But we have no idea where Jesse is! Come on! We should stop and think this through.
Blair: Judging by the fact that we're in the middle of nowhere through a sandstorm, I think it's safe to say that Jaden's done thinking things through.
Haru: 'I just hope we manage to stay safe.' The winds picks up, making the sandstorm even more force.
Jaden: Come on, everybody, stick together!
Blair: Stick together?! I say we just try to stay in one piece!
Crowler: Jaden, I can't go on, the storm's too strong!
The sandstorm eventually becomes too much and they wind up being buried in sand. Thankfully they were okay.
Jaden: [Groans] Huh? Jaden looks to see a door that seemed rather out of place in the desert. Hey, look!
Crowler: What is it?!
Zane: It's a giant door of some kind.
Jaden: Jesse's gotta be in there. Jaden walks up to it.
Crowler: Where's he going?!
Haru: Through that door apparently.
Zane: Jaden, stop!
Jaden keeps going, until Zane throws a shock collar at the door. The electricity of it, keeps Jaden away.
Jaden: Uh!
Zane: When I say stop, stop!
Jaden: Huh? Zane?!
Zane: Listen, this is foolish, you can't rush into things.
Jaden: But Jesse!
Zane: Cannot be helped. At least not by you I'm afraid. You're still weak, who knows what's through that door. And you've got to be ready for anything that comes up. Jaden, the last time you dueled unprepared, the darkness took you over. A lot of bad things happened 'cause you lost your way looking for Jesse!
Jaden: [Gasp] But jesse needs me! I promise, I'll be more careful. Jaden tries to go through the door again, but the shock collar keeps him back. Come on!
Zane: It's for your own good.
Jaden: You can't stop me.
Zane: Oh, yes, I can. And I'm not afraid to show you how either. That is if you're brave enough! Well, are you, Jaden? Zane readied his duel disk.
Crowler: What does Zane think he's doing?!
Blair: Why can't we all just calm down?!
Haru: I hate to say it, but Zane had a point. Jaden's still not ready yet.
Zane: Jaden, if you can defeat me, you're free to go through that door.
Jaden: Defeat you?
Zane: That's right. You need to duel to prove that you're strong enough. To prove that you're still not haunted by what you did when you were the Supreme King!
Crowler: Let's give them some room!
Jaden: Okay.
Zane: And, jaden, I'm not holding anything back! And I'll start with this, Armored Cybern!
