Jaden and Haru, stand undeterred as Bakura stares them both down. Dark Magician Girl's new form appears on the field, ready for battle.
Haru: Bakura, your Dark Master is no match for the power of my monster. Especially after I equip her with Magic Formula.

Haru: This handy little Spell increases her ATK by 500! (ATK: 2600-3100)
Blair: Was that a good move?
Sora: With Dark Magician Girl now scoring 3100 ATK and Zorc only having 2700 ATK, I'd say yes, that was a good move. And Diabound is no longer a threat which means they're safe to attack now.
Blair: That's fantastic.
Haru: Dark Magician Girl, attack Zorc with Dark Burning Dragon Force! The sorceress and her dragon ready a powerful attack.
Blair: All right! We might be going home after all.
Bakura: You're not going anywhere because I activate my facedown, the Trap Spirit Shield.

Bakura: While this card is face-up, it protects my monsters from any attack, so long as I banish a monster from my graveyard.
Haru: Oh... Dark Magician Girl's attack fails as a dome protects Zorc.
Bakura: Oh, well. Better luck next time. That's assuming, of course, there is a next time.
Jaden: Huh.
Blair: That Bakura has been one-upping those two this whole duel.
Sora: Well, hopefully, they'll break his defenses soon. If not, their LP's don't stand a chance.
Haru: I end my turn.
Bakura: As you must. I draw, and since it's my turn again, I can activate the power of my Dark Master Zorc. I'll use it right away, and with its power...
Bakura throws another dice. It lands on 4. The Bandit King smirks. He could destroy Dark Magician Girl, but Haru's facedowns could counter his attempt. So he decided to go for an easy win.
