Eden
I showered and dressed in a hot pink bikini before throwing shorts and a tee shirt over it. I clipped my hair into a messy bun and shoved my feet into a pair of J-slip sandals—anything to make my life easier than it has been lately.
I grabbed my beach bag with all the essentials I would need—a towel, sunscreen, change of clothes, hairbrush, and anything else I would need. I exited my bedroom to find the others dressed in beach gear waiting for me. The guys wore board shorts, tee shirts, and deck shoes. Marissa had on a two-piece coverup that could pass as a dress and sandals.
"Are we ready?" Aiden asked.
"More than you know," I said with a genuine smile. I needed a day with sand, water, blue skies, and sun. I needed a day when my life didn't implode in all aspects. I needed a day when I was carefree before I faced an unbridled truth.
Aiden drove us to the cafe to collect our cooler of food and drinks before heading to the beach. He pulled into a parking spot and parked. We got out as Diego grabbed the cooler and carried it to a place near a shade tree. I dug through my bag, grabbed my sunscreen, and stripped to my bikini before applying the lotion to my skin.
While I lathered my skin with sun protection, I felt eyes drilling into the back of my head. I turned slowly and saw Aiden staring at me with an unreadable expression. I checked my swimsuit to ensure I wasn't flashing anyone when he approached me with deliberate steps. "Is there something wrong with my swimsuit?"
"No," he rasped.
I looked at him in confusion. "Are you sure?"
Aiden slipped an arm around me and yanked me to him until I smacked his hard chest. He leaned into my ear so only I could hear. "That bikini is a guy's wet dream. Your figure is what makes guys have wet dreams. And it's all mine."
My cheeks heated as desire pooled in my stomach.
"You have no idea how much self-restraint I have right now. And it's hanging on by a thread."
My voice caught in my throat, and my breathing became shallow.
"But I'm a patient man." Aiden claimed my lips in a searing kiss, turning my body into an inferno.
"Christ! Can you two make out later? I want to hit the water!" Diego yelled.
Aiden pulled away and gazed into my eyes while flipping off Diego. Was it wrong I wanted him to have his way with me right now? "We'll continue this later," he said before dragging me to the water.
My brain lost all functioning ability as Aiden led me to the water and pulled me into it. It didn't help he was hot as hell in only his board shorts.
Yep, I was a goner.

Aiden
Fuck me if I knew Eden would wear that hot pink little number to the beach. The minute she stripped off her tee shirt and shorts, I about lost it. She had curves in all the right places, filling out her top nicely. Let's not forget her perky assets and lean legs for days. She was every guy's wet dream.
How the fuck did that dickhead pick that bitch over a goddess like Eden? And she was a fucking goddess. I wanted to beat the hell out of both of them for being so damn stupid, especially her ex. He gave up a diamond for a rock.
Oh, well. His loss is my gain. Dumbfuck.
Eden swam around while I watched and enjoyed the sight before me. Last night, I witnessed her sheer vulnerability, which I doubt she shows to many people. Why would she? Her family proved they didn't care about her. Her ex made her disposable. Yet, she was stronger than most people.
