Chapter 2 the twinkle in your eyes
Chasmin's pov
"Minny wake up ninny time to go to school" I woke up to my dad calling me . I knew it was him because no one ever called me that but him " 5 more minutes daddy please ". I said I rolled over but my eyes snapped over when I remembered my dad was dead . I noticed the eyes but it was to late the pinch was thrown before I could stop myself . " oh my gosh I'm sorry. Are you ok? What was that crack sound ?Wait why are you in my house ? How did you get in ? What the hack are you doing here ? " Funny I'm the one that got punched and I get yelled at ." He said while holding his nose I saw blood seeping threw his fingers "sorry go sit on my bed ill get you a towel ." He nodded and went to go sit down . I handed him a towel from my closet thank goodness my mom did laundry . I went to my closet again looking for clothes to wear to day I settled on a pink shirt white pants and my pink converse I grabbed my white bandana to tie the outfit all together . My shirt was about to go over my head when u remembered he was in the room I turned around to find him not on the bed anymore but by my nightstand looking at my picture of me my mom and dad . We toke the picture on our vacation to Italy . It was taken two weeks before he died . As if he sensed me looking he said " you look so happy theres a certain twinkle in your eyes why don't you smile like that anymore ?" He asked . I didn't know what to say so I didn't respond I knew he wouldn't turn around so I quickly changed and grabbed my back pack. " come on we don't want to be late ". And I headed out the door
With one question in my head 'why did he call me minny' ?
