The following morning, a thick fog settled over the camp. The sun was barely visible, and the air was heavy with an uneasy stillness. The group moved around slowly, still feeling the exhaustion from the ongoing battle with Glitchtrap and his glitching horrors. No one was in a hurry to leave the relative safety of their makeshift shelter.

Enna was the first to step outside, her breath visible in the cold air. She squinted into the fog, trying to see if anything was lurking out there. After a few moments, she heard a faint rustling in the bushes nearby. She tensed up, readying herself for another fight.

A figure emerged from the mist, slowly approaching. It was a boy, around 15 years old, with unruly pink hair and bright pink eyes that seemed to cut through the fog. His clothes were tattered, but there was a strange energy around him. His face was hardened, yet there was a fierce determination in his expression. The subtle glow of his pink aura was unmistakable—a new Terrabeast.

"Who the hell are you?" Enna called out, her hand hovering over her weapon. She wasn't about to take any chances.

The boy stopped a few feet away, raising his hands in a gesture of peace. "I'm not here to fight," he said, his voice steady but carrying a youthful defiance. "Name's Val. I'm looking for someone... or rather, some people."

Kevin stepped out next to Enna, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. "And why should we trust you, kid, and we already have a annoying kid"

Val met Kevin's glare head-on, his eyes glowing a brighter pink. "You shouldn't, really. But you're gonna want to hear what I have to say."

By now, the rest of the team had gathered outside, weapons drawn and eyes fixed on the newcomer. Violett and Violace exchanged wary glances, ready to jump in at a moment's notice.

Stacy spoke up, her voice calm but firm. "Speak, then. But be quick about it."

Val nodded, a hint of his confidence showing through. "I'm a Terrabeast, like some of you. Pink's my color, if you couldn't tell." He gave a smirk, then continued. "I've been wandering for a while, but I started hearing things... about Glitchtrap, about what he's planning. And about you guys."

Willow tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. "What about us?"

Val looked directly at Enna, his eyes narrowing with intensity. "That you're the only ones who stand a chance of stopping him. But from what I've seen, you're gonna need help. And lucky for you, I'm pretty damn good at what I do."

Violace snorted, his lips curling into a half-smile. "And what exactly is that? Standing around with your hair glowing like some neon sign?"

Val's eyes gleamed, and suddenly, a burst of pink energy shot out from his body. His aura flared up around him, swirling like a vortex. He took a step forward, and the earth beneath him cracked with a pink-hued force.

"I control kinetic energy," he said, his voice carrying an almost electric charge. "And I can use it to move mountains—or tear through Glitchtrap's little glitch army."

The team braced themselves, weapons at the ready, but Val remained still, his aura fading back to normal. Within moments, the air around them settled.

Ethan, impressed despite himself, raised an eyebrow. "Alright, Val, you've got some tricks. But why do you want to help us? What's in it for you?"

Val's smile faded, replaced by a more serious expression. "Glitchtrap destroyed my home. My family. Everything I cared about turned to glitches and ash. I've got nothing left. But if I can help take him down, maybe that's enough."

There was a moment of silence as the team processed his words. Enna looked him over, trying to gauge his sincerity. She saw the determination in his eyes, the same look she'd seen in her own reflection countless times.

"Alright, Val," Enna finally said. "You can stay. But if you try anything, and I mean anything, you're gone. Got it?"

Val nodded, a hint of relief crossing his face. "Got it. I'm not looking for trouble. Just a chance."

Amy, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "You might just get it. Welcome to the chaos, Val."

The team dispersed, still wary but slightly more at ease. As they prepared for their next move, the fog began to lift, revealing the path ahead. With a new ally in their ranks and the looming threat of Glitchtrap's schemes, the battle was far from over, but their resolve had never been stronger.
