The campfire crackled as Amy, Mylow, and Ethan sat in a quiet circle around the flames. They had taken some time away from the others to regroup after another exhausting encounter with Shadow's followers. It was their chance to reflect, to think without the weight of the entire team's expectations bearing down on them. The forest around them was dense, quiet, with only the distant calls of night birds and the rustling leaves to break the silence.

Ethan poked at the fire with a stick, lost in thought. Mylow, sitting across from him, seemed to mirror his expression. They'd come a long way together, discovering their abilities, figuring out their place on the team, and most recently, uncovering the truth of their shared bloodline. But the revelation had opened up more questions than answers.

Amy, seated between them, sighed, breaking the silence. "So, we've established that Shadow's not some random villain. He's connected to Kevin, which makes him connected to us. But why bring the rest of us into it?"

Mylow rubbed his temples, looking frustrated. "Because that's what people like him do. They don't just break one person down—they go for the people around them. And, as much as I hate to say it, Kevin's our link to this guy."

Ethan nodded, tossing his stick into the fire and watching it burn. "We need to start working together, the three of us. It's not just about following the others' lead. It's time we start thinking like a unit."

Amy looked between them, eyes narrowing slightly. "It's funny you say that," she said. "Because I've been thinking the same thing. We're the ones who've been overlooked, who've been playing catch-up while everyone else battles the main threats. But the three of us? We've got skills they're underestimating."

Mylow's eyes gleamed with interest. "What are you getting at?"

Amy leaned forward, her voice low. "Think about it. Ethan, you're skilled with tracking and sensing energy forms—maybe even better than the others realize. Mylow, you've got the knowledge and instinct that none of us really understand yet. And me? I've got my own abilities." She smiled slyly, almost as if she were hiding a new trick.

Ethan tilted his head. "So, what are you saying? That we train? Come up with some tactics?"

"Exactly," Amy said firmly. "No more playing background characters. The others may have their own roles, but that doesn't mean we can't carve our own path."

Mylow nodded, seemingly energized by her idea. "You're right. We need to train together. Work on combining our skills, understanding each other's strengths and weaknesses."

They exchanged determined glances, a silent agreement that this would be their focus moving forward. But even as the words settled among them, Ethan's face grew serious. "Amy, what about your transformation? You've only just unlocked your kitsune form. You'll need to refine it if we're going to fight anyone as powerful as Shadow."

Amy nodded, her eyes glinting with resolve. "I know. And it's not going to be easy. But if I can control it—really control it—it'll make a difference. Maybe not just in battle, but in protecting everyone. We're not just a team here. We're family."

Mylow placed a hand on her shoulder, his eyes warm. "And family sticks together. So, let's make this official. Training starts tomorrow at dawn, just the three of us. Let's give everyone else a reason to rely on us. Shadow won't see us coming."

Ethan looked at the two of them, a fierce determination building in his gaze. "No more waiting for orders. We're making our own path."
