Lucy allowed herself to be led by the nurses, each step taking her further away from Tim and closer to the unknown. Her heart raced as they stopped before a door marked 'Room 315'. The nurses exchanged understanding glances before pushing the door open, revealing a surprisingly serene space.

The room was bathed in a soft glow, the pastel bedding inviting and comforting. The most striking feature was the enormous wall-to-wall window that framed the night sky, dotted with countless stars that seemed to beckon her.

Lucy's breath hitched at the sight - it was both beautiful and intimidating, mirroring the journey ahead. As they helped her settle into the plush bed, she couldn't help but feel small and vulnerable, like a ship adrift in a vast ocean.

The nurses, sensing her unease, offered comforting words before leaving her alone with her thoughts. She gazed up at the stars, allowing their distant twinkles to calm her racing mind. *This is the first step, Lucy,* she told herself, drawing strength from Tim's unwavering belief in her.

Throughout the seemingly endless night, Lucy tossed and turned in the unfamiliar bed, the softness of the pastel sheets a stark contrast to the turmoil within her. The sterile scent of the hospital lingered in the air, serving as a constant reminder of where she was.

Every footstep on the tiles and distant murmur of conversation made her heart pound in her chest, a reminder that she wasn't home.

The nurse, seated quietly in the corner, cast concerned glances her way, her presence a gentle reassurance that Lucy wasn't alone in her struggle. Despite the nurse's watchful eye, Lucy's mind refused to rest, wrestling with fears, doubts, and memories that haunted her.

Lucy lay in her bed, staring at the ceiling as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the blinds. The nurse's chair creaked rhythmically in the corner of the room as she shifted positions, a subtle reminder of the constant supervision she was under.

*Why can't they trust me?* Lucy thought bitterly, her mind reeling with resentment. She knew logically that it was for her own safety, but the feeling of being watched every second of the day was suffocating. She craved privacy, a moment to simply breathe without judgment. Her thoughts spiraled into darker territories, recalling the freedom she once had.

She imagined sneaking away, escaping the watchful eye of the facility, and reclaiming control over her life. However, as quickly as these thoughts arose, she pushed them aside. Deep down, Lucy understood that this intense supervision was necessary.

It was a part of her healing process, a way to keep her safe until she found the strength to fight her demons alone. With a heavy sigh, she rolled onto her side, focusing on the calming view outside her window. *One day,* she promised herself, *I'll earn that trust back. One day, I'll be free of this constant scrutiny.*

The sun's persistent glare streamed into the room, illuminating Lucy's tear-streaked face as she struggled to find solace in sleep. The nurse's gentle voice broke through her turbulent thoughts, "Lucy, wake up please. Breakfast is at 6 am, and it's mandatory to attend."

Lucy groaned, pulling the covers tighter around herself as she tried to ignore the unwelcome intrusion. In her exhaustion, she momentarily resented the nurse's insistence, but she understood that this was a crucial step in her recovery. Reluctantly, she pushed herself upright, swallowing past the lump in her throat. "I know," she whispered, her voice hoarse from crying.
