"Then do you want me to bully you too?Is that what you are implying?"I continued eating.Jean looks taken aback.

"I..."I smiled at her.

"See...you don't want it don't you?It's okay,I won't bully you or ignore you."

"But then you'd be a freak like me.That beauty of yours would be a waste."Jean looks ready to cry.Was I like this in other mermaid's eyes when I was young?

"They're just words to hurt you Jean.Just ignore it and you'll be fine besides why would I join the popular group?It's my own decision if I join or not and I think I'm sick of being in the spotlight for too long."Jean looked a bit speechless."Well,if you don't want to then I'll bully you in another way."

"W-what?"I smirked.

"Teach me how to cook.I haven't cook anything in my entire life so you have to teach me how."I took another slice of cake.

"O-of course.Thank you."Jean smiled and continued eating."By the way,Luna?"

"Hmmm?"

"The boy next door is Zane Nixon,he boards alone just like you so don't disturb him or you might get in trouble."I scratched my head.

"Who?"Jean's eyes widened.

"Zane Nixon?The heir to the Nixon Empire?The heir of the reigning king of the business world?And also our school prince."

"Jean I don't know who the hell are you talking about but tell me more."Jean looked surprise.

"It's strange that you don't know since his family is always on the celebrity news and magazines."Shoot.

"I was raised by fishes so I don't know anything from the outside world and this is my first time exposed out."I managed to reason and half-joked or rather honestly blurted out. Jean giggled at the" joke".

"Oh well.Zane Nixon is the same age as us and we don't know why but he suddenly attended school here.The school became popular because of him.He's really good looking so almost every girl wants him,he even have a fan club in the school and they named him the school prince.Well,I have to agree that he's like a prince though because he's not like the other popular kids who picks on someone like me whenever they have a chance.He's rather kind."Jean looks like she's describing a god but I still don't get the picture.

"Hmmm so if he doesn't bully you,what does he do?"

"He ignores us."I scowled.

"Jean that's the same as bullying if he doesn't even help you."Jean blushed.

"Well it still help rather than joining with the teasing."I rolled my eyes.Love is really blind.

"Whatever but why should I be careful?"

"Rumors had it that he'd turn into a beast if you antagonize him and his family is rich so he can ruin your life if he wants to."So he's a bastard.

Jean left after we finished off the cake and washed the dishes.After sending her off,I went to the bedroom and stripped off my dress then went in the tub after filling it up with water.The water feels refreshing that I transformed my legs to tails and washed it.Just as I was enjoying the water,I heard a bang and then loud music sounded from next door.That would be my so called famous neighbor.I sighed,transformed my tails to legs then got out of the tub and drained it.I headed next to the closet and found a tube that resembles my clothes back home then a short.It's fine since it's night and no one will see me,I feel comfortable this way.

By the time that I finished unpacking and fixing the few luggage that I brought,the music was still on and totally annoying me.I let it go for a while and tried to chase it off with sleep but I can't and finally snapped.I marched outside and banged at his door.The music can't be heard in the halls so that means that I'm the only one who can hear it.I banged at his door again.It opened.

"What?!"My eyes widened.

Grey eyes and black hair,it's him!God,if that boy is him,then this kind of irresponsible person could have thrown it away.I traveled my gaze to his neck and blinked.Oh,it's there!I just stared at it.As a princess,I have my personal sign and that would be a black tulip.It is engraved in my chest closer to my right shoulder and also floating inside the violet water in the necklace.I can't believe that this person was my first love.He just got out of bed that's for sure with that half-dreaming state of his and messy hair.

"Hey!What do you want?!Stop staring!"I snapped out of my thoughts and that's when I realized that he's half-naked but he is muscular."If you're trying to seduce me with the way you're dressed,get lost!"He's still a jerk!

"Seduce you?!Keep dreaming!Just turn down your music and I'll get lost as you wish!"He yawned.

"Why would I do that?"I scowled.

"Because I can hear it from next door and I can't sleep!"My annoyance is taking over my control.I swear if we were ever near a water,I would have strangled him using it.

"Just cover your ears."He said then turned to close the door.I kicked it open before it was completely close.These legs are quit strong.

I shoved him aside then entered his room.It's no different from mine except for the furniture.I followed the music and was led to the bedroom and at the same time that I turned it off,I was grabbed bt my arm and was pushed down on the bed.Zane looks really pissed.

"Let go of me!"I struggled but he's like a stone.Humans are strong too.

"Why?You're the one who came in a guy's room on her own,it's like you're begging to be raped."He smirked.

"Rape?"I searched my mind for that word then turned red.I struggled harder but it was useless.

I closed my eyes when I felt him move but instead I felt a bit of weight crush me instead.I opened my eyes just to see a sleeping face of Zane but other than that I can feel that his skin is hot from my exposed skin.He's sick,I can tell but I can't move.

"Great!Just great!I saved your life before and this is how I end up as your savior."I huffed then made an attempt to free my other hand,his hand was loose so I freed my hand easily but I can't free the other one though,it was gripped too tight.The bathroom is also close so I can't summon water.When I get back,I'm gonna start training to get stronger,seriously,a mere human won't even budge.

I tried pinching and smacking his cheeks but I only got a groan from him.I sighed then gave up.I looked at him.As I predicted and as Jean said,he is handsome.I smiled and touched his hair then his forehead to check his temperature.Mermaids and humans still are closely related since we're half like them so I know that Zane is having a fever.It's not serious so it's okay but he's too hot,I'm affected by it.I reached for his chest and felt for the necklace,when I found it,I pressed my palm into it then just like before it shone.I can feel the energy passing through his body as it spread through his body.A moment later,his normal temperature returned and his face seems to relax a little.
