𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 next competition day. Unfortunately, Dasha couldn't make it but we were feeling pretty confident. I stood beside the rink with my boyfriend as we stretched.

"It's probably a good thing Dasha isn't here. she would kill us." Justin spoke up due to all the extra choreography we have added, "I know she said not to worry about her but-"

I cut him off, "She said she will be fine. Just think of it this way, if we get top four in the long program, she'll be thrilled to coach us at sectionals."

He turned to face me with a serious expression, "Are you sure you want to do this?" He questioned, "We can still go back to the old program."

"You worry too much," I chuckled, "I'm ready."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the ice, Maeve Adams and Justin Davis from the Pinecrest Skating Club." The man from the PA called out.

We glided across the ice hand in hand as Romeo and Juliet began to play. We executed the routine perfectly, which I couldn't be more grateful for.

After moving off the ice, we moved to wait for the results. I leaned my body against my boyfriends, the anticipation wearing me out, "Davis and Adams have earned a free skate score of 102.27 points which puts them in second place."

The blonde boy immediately wrapped me in his arms out of happiness, "We're going to Sectionals." He gushed, "You were unbelievable. I cannot wait to tell Dasha." I grinned, placing my lips to his in a deep kiss, "I'm so proud of you."
