𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖 time for Jenn's performance. Justin and I sat hand in hand as we watched her glide across the ice, "Please welcome to the ice, Jenn Yu."
I cheered along with the rest of the crowd as her music began. I couldn't help but feel as though her movements were a little stiff, almost as though she was in pain, "Does her dancing seem a little off to you?" I questioned my boyfriend, I knew the two were friends.
"She has an injured hip." He told me. I mentally cringed at his words. As if on cue, she fell on that very hip. I jumped in surprise as she cried out in pain.
My breathing hitched in my throat as I remembered my fall.
I held a grin on my lips as I waltzed across the ice, hand in hand with my partner, "Please welcome to the ice, our Pinecrest skating pros, Maeve Adams and Joseph Whitlock."
An eruption of cheering and applause echoed through the crowd as we stopped in the middle of the space. I took a deep inhale as the music began to play.
Joseph led me through the ice, spinning me around before he lifted me into his arms. The boy held onto my back and right leg as my left straightened into the air. He glided through the ice before he let go of my leg and only held onto my back.
Due to the lack of touch, he dropped me. I gasped in shock as I fell to the floor, hitting my head on the way down.
