As Maya picked up the towel from the couch and moved to hand it to the person inside the bathroom, she was suddenly pulled inside along with the towel.

"Shall we shower together, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania?"

The unexpected tug and the man's deep voice startled Maya. Unprepared for the sudden turn of events, her body went limp, collapsing into the man’s firm arms.

With unyielding force, the man pinned Maya against the cold, tiled wall. The shower's icy water cascaded over them, soaking them both.

Despite the biting cold that permeated the British air, the freezing water seemed to have no effect on him. His body was as hard as stone.

A moment later, Maya managed to open her eyes, which immediately landed on the man's chiseled, V-shaped eight-pack abs.

He stood before her, shirtless, clad only in a lower garment.

The water streamed down his muscular frame, making his physique appear even more captivating and seductive.

Maya lifted her gaze, meeting the man’s intense, deep blue eyes.

Despite the torrent of water, neither of them blinked.

They stood, locked in an intense gaze, while the sound of the shower was the only noise breaking the silence of the room.

Maya finally broke the silence, her voice steady as she said, "Mr. Vidyut, let go of me."

Vidyut’s jaw clenched in response to her words, though his handsome face remained a mask of emotionless resolve.

He intertwined his fingers with Maya's, pinning her hands above her head against the wall, his grip firm and unyielding.

With their faces mere inches apart, their breaths mingled as Vidyut spoke, his voice deep and cold,"Where do you get the courage, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania? First, you took advantage of my unconsciousness and married me. Now, you don’t even want to let your husband come near you."

His words were laced with a quiet fury.

Maya, remaining composed, replied,"Mr. Vidyut, this marriage was at your insistence. You wanted me to marry you, and so I did. Your wish has been fulfilled. Now we are even. Release me and finish your shower. I'll arrange for the divorce papers; I want to be free from this relationship as soon as possible."

Vidyut’s expression darkened further, his eyes boring into hers with an intensity that made the room feel colder than the water.

Still holding her hands above her head, he pressed his body against hers, their proximity making her pulse race.

Maya’s t-shirt was drenched, clinging to her body.

Vidyut’s hand slipped beneath her shirt, his touch rough against her delicate waist. His voice was low and passionate as he said, "Stop dreaming of divorce, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania. You won’t escape from me until I decide so. Our relationship won't end until I decree it. Not even the entire world can break it."

Maya’s breath hitched as his rough touch sent shivers down her spine.

She had countless reasons to seek a divorce, but the biggest one was her grandfather.

Taking a deep breath, Maya struggled against his grip and said, "Mr. Vidyut, let's discuss this calmly outside. It's cold in here."

Vidyut’s lips curled into a wicked smile as he leaned closer, his lips brushing against her sensitive ear. His voice was a seductive whisper, "You feel cold while I'm here, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania? That’s not fair. I should help my wife warm up. If you allow, I can make you sweat even under this cold water."

Maya’s body trembled slightly at his words.

For the first time, she felt her face flush crimson, unsure whether it was from embarrassment or anger.

Unable to bear Vidyut’s closeness and taunts any longer, she gritted her teeth and said, "Mr. Vidyut! You are crossing your limits and my boundaries."

"Limits and boundaries?" Vidyut echoed, his voice now tinged with anger. The blue in his eyes darkened, the corners turning red.

Pressing his entire weight against her, forcing her back against the wall, he said in an icy tone, "You’ve crossed limits and boundaries, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania. By coming back into my life, marrying me without permission, leaving me, and keeping my son away from me for a year despite everything, you’ve crossed every line. I haven’t done anything yet. When I do cross the line, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania, you’ll be ruined."

Maya fell silent at his words. Vidyut wasn’t wrong. She had always been the one to cross boundaries, both in the past and now.

Seeing her quiet, Vidyut reached up and released her hair from its tie, his voice calm but chilling as he asked,"How is my son?"

Maya met his gaze, replying,"He’s fine and happy with me."

Vidyut’s stare grew colder. Suddenly, the sound of fabric tearing echoed through the bathroom.

Maya’s eyes widened in shock as she looked at Vidyut, who remained emotionless despite what he had just done.
