Upon hearing Vidyut's arrogant words, Maya’s grandfather barely restrained his anger and promptly summoned the family doctor.

Minutes after the call, Dr. Ram, the Arya family's trusted physician, arrived at the mansion. A middle-aged man, Dr. Ram came from a long line of doctors who had served the Aryas for generations. Knowing Grandpa’s confidence in him, he immediately understood the gravity of his presence. Beside him was the family’s lawyer, called in by Grandpa to handle any potential legal complexities.

Whatever transpired today, Grandpa would do everything in his power to prevent it from reaching the courtroom. The Arya family's reputation hung in the balance, and an internal resolution was the only acceptable course.

As they entered the grand sitting room, Dr. Ram and Lawyer Singh were taken aback to see Vidyut Singhania—the eldest son of the Arya family's greatest rival—seated comfortably, exuding a calm arrogance as he took leisurely puffs from a cigar. Both men exchanged stunned glances, unable to fathom why Vidyut, of all people, was here.

Leaning close, Lawyer Singh whispered to Dr. Ram, "Do you have any idea why this… devil is here?"

Dr. Ram gave a slight shrug. "Not entirely sure why he’s here, but I suspect we’re involved because of him."

"Could he have done something as drastic as… murder?" Lawyer Singh ventured, his curiosity intensifying as he scanned the room for signs of a violent altercation.

But Dr. Ram dismissed the thought after a careful survey. “No blood, no body—so it’s likely not that serious.”

Relieved but still perplexed, Lawyer Singh was visibly itching to understand Vidyut's presence here.

Their quiet conversation ended as they approached Grandpa, offering respectful greetings. Vidyut, however, ignored their pleasantries, as if they were insignificant.

With a stern expression, Grandpa handed a document to Dr. Ram. “Examine this,” he instructed. “Tell me if this DNA report is authentic.”

Dr. Ram took the report and read through it, his face gradually turning ashen. He mumbled, “This… this can’t be possible.”

Seeing Dr. Ram’s expression, Grandpa allowed himself a moment of hope, believing the report Vidyut had presented might be false. But that glimmer was short-lived.

With disbelief, Dr. Ram declared, “I conducted a DNA test myself for Mr. Pratham and Ayansh last year, and their match was 99.99%—confirming Pratham as Ayansh's biological father. But if that’s true, how could this report show a similar match with Mr. Vidyut?”

The revelation sent shockwaves through the room. Vidyut, however, remained impassive, lounging on the couch as if the unfolding drama was beneath him.

To confirm his suspicions, Dr. Ram quickly checked Vidyut's blood type. He knew Pratham was B-negative, but Vidyut’s blood type was AB-negative, eliminating any possibility of Pratham and Vidyut being the same person.

Dr. Ram’s mind raced. He was a highly esteemed physician, known for his sharp instincts, and yet he found himself staring at conflicting DNA tests, each authentic. There was no question Ayansh was Pratham’s son, so how could Vidyut’s DNA align as well?

Perplexed, Dr. Ram cast a sidelong glance at Vidyut, noting the uncanny resemblance Ayansh bore to him—the eyes, the facial structure, even Ayansh’s cold demeanor.

Clearing his throat, Grandpa pressed, “Dr. Ram, is this report valid?”

Dr. Ram hesitated but finally replied,“Big Boss, it seems to be authentic. I can have it thoroughly rechecked for absolute certainty.”

The tension in the room was palpable. If the report was indeed genuine, Vidyut’s claim on Ayansh was unassailable.

Once Dr. Ram verified the report’s authenticity, Vidyut’s lawyer stepped forward, presenting legal documents to both Grandpa and Lawyer Singh. Grandpa, his voice subdued, asked Lawyer Singh, “Is there any way around this?”

But Lawyer Singh shook his head. “No, Big Boss. Even if we go to court, the outcome will favor Mr. Singhania.”

Grandpa sank back into his seat, overwhelmed by the ramifications. Vidyut stubbed out his cigar in the ashtray, stood up, and, without preamble, demanded, “Where is Ayansh?”

Though Grandpa was silent, Zara, fighting her nerves, gestured toward Ayansh’s room.

Understanding, Vidyut slid his hands into his pockets and strode purposefully down the hall. Since Maya had left the mansion, Ayansh had confined himself to his room, shutting out the world.
