Tilting her head slightly, Maya remarked, "Of course, games can be bought, Mr. Vidyut. But my game will only be sold when I decide it's time."
Vidyut didn't respond this time. After grazing his lips along the curve of Maya's neck for a few moments, he released her from his embrace.
The shower continued to run, leaving them both drenched.
Maya turned to glance at Vidyut, but the moment their eyes met, she quickly averted her gaze, shutting her eyes. Her usual calm demeanor was overtaken by frustration.
Vidyut, unbothered by her reaction, began changing his clothes right in front of her.
When Maya turned towards him again, he was nearly undressed.
Wrapping a towel around his waist, Vidyut said with indifference, "The bathrobe is over there. Change into it."
Maya clenched her teeth and snapped, "I'll change, but you need to leave, Mr. Vidyut!"
Vidyut raised an intrigued eyebrow at her defiance.
Pulling her close by the waist once more, he bent down to whisper in her ear, "What’s the issue with changing in front of me? It’s not like I haven’t seen you without clothes before. In fact, I’ve seen and touched you countless times. Now that I’m your husband, I have every legal right to see you, Mrs. Maya Vidyut Singhania."
Maya tilted her head, meeting his gaze with a smirk. "Dream on, Mr. Vidyut. I’ll soon have a divorce from you, and then you’ll have no rights over me. As for before, I was helpless. You took advantage of that."
"Divorce? And taking advantage?" Vidyut echoed her words, his handsome face remaining impassive, though his piercing blue eyes revealed a storm of emotions.
In an instant, he spun Maya around and pinned her against the wall.
Before she could react, his lips descended on hers.
Maya's eyes widened in fury as Vidyut stared back at her, not kissing her, but biting her lips instead.
She placed her hands on his shoulders, attempting to push him away, but he wouldn’t relent.
Five minutes later, Vidyut finally released her, leaving her lips swollen and bruised.
He stared at her for a moment before lowering his head to bite her cleavage. Then, looking into her eyes, he murmured, "This is what it means to take advantage, Mrs. Singhania. And let me remind you, you weren’t helpless back then. You were dying. I saved your life. I didn’t take advantage of you. In fact, it was you who took advantage of me."
Maya’s anger faltered as Vidyut’s words sank in.
Without another word, Vidyut let her go and strode out of the bathroom.
Once alone, Maya grabbed her phone and sent a message to Riba: *"Bring me some clothes and the divorce papers to Paradise Room No. 6."*
After hitting send, she sighed, pausing to gather her thoughts before she began changing into dry clothes.
Meanwhile...
Outside Dream Hotel, a sleek black limo pulled up.
A guard quickly stepped out from the front passenger seat, hurrying to open the back door. Out stepped Ayansh.
With his hands in his pockets, Ayansh’s small, handsome face was devoid of any emotion. His aura was unnaturally cold for someone so young. His walk exuded arrogance and pride far beyond his years.
Following behind him was Shadow, his loyal companion. Shadow moved like a wild black panther, yet in Ayansh’s presence, it was as obedient as a tamed housecat.
As Ayansh entered the hotel lobby, silence fell.
People found themselves drawn to the boy’s striking appearance, yet his icy demeanor and the presence of Shadow sent chills through them.
It was common knowledge that Ayansh had suddenly entered Maya's life a year ago as her son. Prior to that, there was no mention of her having a child. But Maya had introduced Ayansh to the world, and surprisingly, the Arya family—traditional and deeply respected—accepted both Maya and Ayansh without question.
Ayansh was the apple of Maya’s eye, adored by his grandfather and loved by Mr. Rudra. But the question that haunted many was: where had Ayansh been for the first two years of his life?
As Ayansh made his way toward the elevator, Sumit approached him.
Bowing respectfully, Sumit greeted,"Little Master, you've arrived. Have your lessons concluded for the day?"
Ayansh cast a cold glance at Sumit, not bothering to answer the question.
In a detached tone, Ayansh asked,"Where is Mommy?"
Sumit hesitated before responding,"Uh... Little Master, Madam is currently occupied."
"Occupied?" Ayansh's eyebrows furrowed in displeasure.
With a voice as cold as ice, he demanded, "What could be more important to Mommy than me?"
Sumit bit his lip, struggling to find the right words. Of course, nothing was more important to Maya than Ayansh. But at this moment, Maya was with Vidyut.
Sumit couldn’t bring himself to explain to the little devil standing before him that his mother was with the bigger devil.
