Jeongin crosses his arms, a smirk playing on his lips. "Seriously, you have nothing better to do?"

"What's more fun than getting on the nerves of a horrible person?" Seungmin shots back.

"I will take that as a no."

Seungmin leans in, his breath hot against Jeongin's skin, their faces barely apart. "How can you pity yourself after all you've done?"

His voice is low, biting, and yet there is something amost teasing in the way he hovers so close, daring Jeongin to step back. Seungmin continues, "Your ex is happy, deal with it and don't try to mess his thing up with Jisung."

Jeongin lets out a laugh, "I don't see how is that any of your business."

It's irritating, the way Seungmin smirks, like he owns the situation, like he has the upper hand. Jeongin hates that look. Hates how it makes his blood boil. Hates that, somewhere in the back of his mind, it also stirs something else.

Jeongin was a stubborn kid, he took after his parents, who left him with his grandma and chose careers instead. As much as he despised them for it, he was little bit too much like them. Especially when he stood his ground with every little thing without even flinching. Never backing down for anything or anyone.

Except now, with Seungmin so close that he can feel his breath, Jeongin finds himself leaning back ever so slightly.

Seungmin's lips twists into a grin. "you know," he murmurs, "you're quite my type."

Jeongin's jaw clenches. "You can suck your own dick."

But there is something, a tension that neither of them would admit. Absurd, idiotic, and Jeongin knows it. They both do.

Horrible person... Seungmin had said.

What the hell was he even trying to do with Felix? Finding someone who understood him? Someone to keep him from feeling so damn alone?

And now, here he is, facing Seungmin, the man who knows exactly how to say the wrong thing with all that confidence. And yet, even though he was totally off with his assumption that seeing Minho happy with his little boyfriend made Jeongin want to mess things up, he craved that Seungmin understood.

Though, he gives little to no fuck about what this man thinks.

Jeongin glances up at Seungmin one last time, before turning around and walking hurriedly down the street. He doesn't even remember headphones or that one song playing quietly.

The lecture hall is still filling up, as Felix leans against the wall near the entrance, eyes half-focused on the growing crowd. His mind, though, is far from the noise of the room.

Only person he has ever talked in university was Jeongin. Annie didn't count, since he has known her his whole life. And considering everything about him wanting to make friends and not feel like outsider in university, he waited for familiar face to show up.
