JOEY WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING WITH HER HEAD ON PIETRO'S ARM, AND HER ARM OVER HIS CHEST.

On the TV, the option to watch Tangled again was showing, and Joey realized that they both must have fallen asleep during the movie— granted, they did start it at almost 10:00.

The alarm on her phone woke both her and Pietro for training, and though they shared a look of... well, not exactly acknowledgment before getting up, they didn't verbally address how they ended up overnight. Besides, they had slept in a bed together before— it didn't have to mean anything.

After training and a brief meeting with Carrelli, Fury, and Pietro concerning missions, Friday called Joey downstairs to the lobby. When she got there, Peter and Eris were standing with Heidi.

"Hey," she said to the Parkers, before wrapping an arm lightly around her mom and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Hi, Mommy."

"Hi, J," Heidi replied. Then, in walked May.

Before Peter or Eris or Joey could even reacted to the lady in the doorway, she was nearly running to Heidi and throwing her arms around her.

"Thank god," May said into Heidi's shoulder, while their kids sort of looked at each other sideways. When May pulled away, she looked at the three children before her and pulled them all into a group hug— Heidi included.

So, the five of them: three Parkers, two Alamedas, group hugged, right in the middle of the Avengers lobby.

"This is so weird," Joey said, and Peter and Eris were quick to agree.

"It is, but I love it," May laughed, hugging them all tighter.

When they finally let go, Joey looked at the Parkers in silent understanding of the two women before them.

"We're gonna head back upstairs," she told Heidi and May— the two of them had so much to talk about. "Don't let us miss you before you go though, May. Love you guys."

Heidi and May nodded, and their teens watched as the two of them walked to one of the waiting rooms nearby. With that, the three of them headed for the elevator.

"I don't know how May's gonna survive without her," Eris said as the elevator rose.

Joey sighed. "I don't know how I'm gonna survive without her."

They stepped out on the fourth floor,  and when they reached the kitchen, Peter took a seat behind the island as Eris hopped up to take a seat on the counter. Joey went for the freezer.

"You guys want some ice cream?" Joey asked, reaching for a small tub on the top shelf.

"Um, yeah!" Peter said. "I didn't even know we had that here."

"I guilt-tripped my dad into getting some after we got into an argument a while back. Now, I think he just keeps it for brownie points, or whatever," Joey replied with a smile, setting the carton on the counter and getting out a few bowls and spoons. When she served out a few scoops to each bowl, she slid each Parker their dish before picking up her own and leaning back onto the counter behind her, across from them. "What have you two been up to since getting back from the rescue?"

"May's been calling us every millisecond, making sure we're not dead," Peter said.

"Yeah," Eris agreed, "but it's kind of been that way since she found out the Stark Internship was a cover for Spider-Man. But it's been extra since everything with your mom."
