Yanna was on her way to surprise Fox, bringing him lunch to brighten his day. As she stepped out of her car to go to the restaurant, her heart full of anticipation, she was suddenly caught off guard. A car came rushing down the street, too fast, too reckless. In the blink of an eye, it swerved uncontrollably and veered towards her.

Yanna had no time to react. Her surroundings blurred as the car came closer, and the sound of screeching tires filled the air. The moment felt like an eternity before the inevitable impact.

While Fox had been deeply immersed in his work, his focus on a mountain of tasks that needed his attention. He hadn't realized that it's already lunchtime. He glanced at the clock, expecting Yanna's usual call—her voice always a welcome break in the middle of his hectic day. But this time, the phone rang, and instead of Yanna's name on the screen, it was her mother.

A pit formed in his stomach as he answered, and Yanna's mother's trembling voice came through, "Fox, we need you to come to the hospital. Yanna was in an accident."

The world around him blurred, the weight of her words sinking in. Panic surged through his veins as his heart pounded in his chest. For a moment, time seemed to stop. He could barely comprehend what was happening, but he knew he had to get to her.

Without thinking, he grabbed his keys and rushed out the door, his thoughts spiraling with fear and dread. Yanna. What happened? Is she okay? The questions kept swirling in his mind, but all he could do was drive, praying that he wouldn't be too late

When Fox arrived at the hospital, Fox's heart pounded in his chest. He rushed to the emergency room, where Yanna's parents stood, worry etched on their faces.

Yanna's Mother: "She's in surgery right now. They're doing everything they can."

Fox felt a chill wash over him. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her. He paced the waiting area, anxiously biting his nails as the minutes dragged on.

Finally, a doctor emerged, his expression serious.

Doctor: "Yanna sustained multiple injuries, but she is stable now. We managed to operate on her fractures, but she's going to need time to heal."

Relief flooded over Fox, but it was quickly overshadowed by the reality of what Yanna would have to face.

Hours later, Fox was allowed to see Yanna. He entered her hospital room, his heart heavy with emotion. She lay there, pale and fragile, connected to various machines. Seeing her like this broke him inside.

He took a seat beside her bed, holding her hand gently.

Fox: "I'm here, Yanna. I'm not going anywhere."

As he sat there, he recalled all their shared moments—laughter, dreams, and plans for the future. The thought of losing her was unbearable. He brushed a strand of hair from her face, feeling tears prick at the corners of his eyes.

Fox: "You've always been so strong. You can get through this. I believe in you."

Days turned into weeks as Yanna began her slow recovery. The hospital became a second home for Fox, who never left her side. He read to her, held her hand, and whispered words of encouragement, hoping she could hear him.

One evening, as the sun began to set, Yanna's eyes fluttered open.

Yanna: "Fox?"

He felt his heart leap at the sound of her voice.
