Vine was just like any other creature, she was just a caretaker for her younger brothers and nephews in her village. She wasn't a healer or a hunter, She also wasn't a cleaner or a hoarder.
She was just as average as a creature could ever be. Until one century...

"Vine! I need to tell you something!" A voice yelled from the distance, Vine rolled her eyes in annoyance before walking to the main cave.
"Yeah?" She asked, peaking into the cave before walking in. Her mother's ears perking in excitement.
"Viney!! Thank Eye you came!" She hugged her child tightly, a gesture of love that Vine never got from any of her parents before this moment...
"W-Why do you want me here-?" Vine asked her mother, soon being released from the Elders grasp.
"Because it's your century of independence! Our bloodline should continue outside of our village after all!"
Vines hearts sank the second her mother mentioned the family bloodline, "What?! This has to be some sort of sick joke!"
She tried to rationalize everything that her mother said to be some unfunny trick, but she couldn't.
She. Just. Couldn't.
Why would her mother of all creatures tell a joke? Especially one like this!
Vines mind blocked out whatever else her mother was saying, after what felt like days of just standing there, she finally said something.
"When do I leave..?
