(TW: Mentions of Death)
__________________________Vine sighed as she walked out of the boarders of her village, she knew that going against the Elders orders was unwise, especially one that's one of her blood parents.
She walked for a few days, going in an erratic zigzagy pattern. Vine wasn't given any maps, food, water or any survival equipment in general.
She was 100% sure that her mother was just trying to get rid of her, though she couldn't wrap her head around the reason why...
Vine eventually collapsed onto the ground, all of her eyes darting around the stone desert, looking for any signs of life but finding nothing.
A disappointed sigh escaped her lips, she closed her eyes in defeat. If she was going to die in her village, she might as well die away from it.
She curled into herself her green scales tightened against her flesh as she relaxed her muscles.
Vine couldn't shake this feeling of... Being watched. Not by The Eye but by another creature like herself...
One of her ears raised, trying to hear any of the clops from hooves, claws clicking or the soft thump of paws. But it was silent.
Just total silence.
'Maybe it's just The Eye...' She thought, lowering her ears once again.
__________________________Violet was carrying his vase, that cave was good enough for a night, but that was it. He had to find a better place to live if he wanted to live out here for the rest of his life.
As he was walking he saw something... A green creature was laying on the ground, the only sign of it being alive was its chest rising and lowering and it's six limbs twitching every few hours.
Violets ears flattened in empathy as he walked towards the other creature, one of its four ears raised before slowly lowering.
He sat down next to it, he grabbed some cloth from his vase and wrapped it around the other. He then carefully picked it up, it was bigger than him but it wasn't too heavy to carry.
He went to a boulder and leaned the creature against it. Violet got some of his water and gently poured it into the others mouth.
There didn't seem to be any physical damages on its body, there were no gravel-filled wounds, no disintegration process, nothing.
But there was a tattoo on one of its scales...
It was the symbol for one of the Floral Villages.
Violet looked at his own tattoo, it being hidden underneath one of his feathers.
It was the same symbol.
Violet leaned against the creature, closing his eye in minor relief, at least a member of the same Village Group had done the same thing as him.
Or was it?
He didn't know anything about Villages other than from his own rose-tinted version of his experience, but he was sure that there were others like him!
And he was sure that the creature next to him wanted to leave home, why else would it be here?
Why else?
__________________________Vines eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the light of The Eye for a second.
She quickly noticed that a comforting warmth was covering her body, she saw a purple creature leaning against her, assumably sleeping.
All of Vines instincts yelled at her to attack, yet she didn't. This creature chose to save her from what she assumed was an inevitable death.
But she also knew that she shouldn't trust others so easily. She decided that it was best to proceed with caution.
Maybe, just maybe, she could have a better chance at survival with a Companion.

Technically the title was a lie considering that they didn't talk to each other so... Sorry not sorry 😈
