It was the day of the braai slash housewarming slash get together and Yandisokuhle was at Sandile's house early. She had spent the night to help get started in the morning. It was 8 am and the housewarming would start at 10 am on the dot. "Bhuti where do you want me to put the snack platters?" She knew that if she didn't ask, he would come and rearrange everything, and she would feel like she wasted her time. "Please put the fruit platter in between the cheese and meat platters." She nodded and proceeded to do so. The couches were spaced out in such a way that no matter where you sat, you would be able to watch TV.

At 9:30 am there was a knock on the door. Everything was done, all Yandisokuhle needed to do was to change into her dress and fix her weave. She was the one to open the door because Ntsika and Sandile were getting the grills started. "Oh, it's you." The person standng on the other side of the door was Chulumanco, Sandile's university friend. "Hi Bhut'Chulu, you look so handsome! I've missed you." He mimicked her voice. She rolled her eyes and took a step back.

"The guys are in the backyard." She had learnt not to take anything they say to heart because for starters, they are idiots and secondly, they are whores. The way they talk about women would make you want to gorge your eyes out. Yandisokuhle didn't understand why Sandile chose to hang out with them. Then again, they might probably be the reason why Sandile and Cebolenkosi broke up.

Chulumanco nodded and walked out to the back yard. Yandisokuhle let out a sigh and prepared herself for the day. When she went back downstairs after having changed, she was met with a full house. She felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. "Hello?" Someone waved at her. 'Who the hell is that?' This was quickly turning into a party/ chillas. "Hey, who is this?" She was walking towards the outside of the house. "It's Naledi. I'm outside." She smiled.

"I'm on my way." The area that Sandile chose to buy his house in was some kind of an Estate that looked like a little village but instead of small huts, it was tall houses and trees. She walked out the door and headed down the stairs. "I can't see you." She walked down the path of cars..."Stop right there, I see you." She turned to look left and right but she saw no one. "Really, where?" She turned back to the direction of the house and saw two figures walking towards her.

"Hi!" Naledi ended the call. "Hey." She gave her a hug and looked at Arabang. "Hi." She smiled shyly at him. Naledi didn't know how to feel about the mini interaction between the two. "Is the house that way?" Naledi asked Yandisokuhle who was somewhat confused by the presence of Arabang and Naledi together. "Y-yes. Right th-this way." She walked in front of them, leading the way. In her mind, she was praying that her walk didn't look weird to the two.

"Bhuti look who came!" She had to shout over the noise because they had started playing music. Ntsika smiled politely at Naledi and Arabang. "What's up man? Glad you could make it gorgeous." He dabbed up Arabang and gave Naledi a side hug. "Please follow me, we've got refreshments in the kitchen. "So how are you?" Yandisokuhle asked Naledi as she showed her the plethora of beverages. Naledi grabbed a brutal fruit, poured it into a glass and added some cut up fruit and a straw.

"I've been good ausi. How have you been? How's the baby girl?" An automatic smile came up on Yandisokuhle's face. "Oh, my bundle of joy? She is as active and happy as a two-year-old can be. She is so talkative." Naledi smiled when she heard that. "I'm glad. So she didn't get hurt bad when I bumped into her?" Yandisokuhle vigorously shook her head. "No. She's fine." Naledi smiled once more. Cebolenkosi walked into the kitchen and Yandisokuhle jumped to hug her.

"I didn't think you'd come Sis'Cebo." Cebo laughed and took a step back to see Yandisokuhle's full outfit. "I did say I'd come."  Yandisokuhle smiled and turned back to Naledi. "Sisi, this is Naledi, she lives down the hall from us." Cebo approached Naledi and gave her a hug. "It's nice to meet you Naledi. How did you actually get webbed into this family?" Naledi smiled and thought for a moment.
