Chapter Five

The Void

I feel the hot sun beating down on me, I open my eyes to see a blue sky above me, my vision is slightly distorted, my ears are ringing. I hear the sound of heavy, echoing footsteps approaching it almost sounds like thunder. I lift my head up to see Logan walking over to Wade. As
Deadpool wakes up with a groan and looks up to find The Wolverine standing over him.

I hear Deadpool groan out, "Don't just stand there, you ape. Give me a hand up." He sounds a bit out of it, I don't blame him, we took a pretty hard fall...to... where ever the fuck we were.

I watch as Wolverine extracts his claws.

"No, l'm actually okay. Thank you!" Deadpool says regretfully.

I watch as Wolverine stabs Deadpool in the torso and picks his body up with his claws. I jump up and run over to the men, nearly tripping over my own feet,

"LOGAN! PUT HIM THE FUCK DOWN! NOW!" I demand.

Y: I know it's not the best idea, to be yelling at this short tempered man, but I'll take my chances.

Logan doesnt even bother looking in my direction, in fact, he doesn't take his glare away from Wade for a second.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE WE?!" Logan yells through gritted teeth.

Deadpool, unfazed by the protruding claws out of his back, answers calmly,

"I don't knoww. It looks kind of Mad Max-y...but that would be IP infringement, right?"

Wolverine, irritatedly says, "Fucking jokes." stabbing Deadpool in the groin, causing him to scream in pain.

He then flips Deadpool over, slamming Deadpool's back onto his knee, and throws his body to the ground. I walk over to the boys and stand next to Deadpool as he gets himself up to look at Logan.

I stare at them for a moment, then I speak, "Were you even listening back there? If we don't make it back to that Mr. Paradox asshole, everyone we know is going to die."

"Not my fucking problem." The Wolverine grunts, walking away from Wade and I.

Deadpool, shouting as Wolverine walks away,

"Is that all you got? Is that what you said when your world went to shit?!"

Wolverine stops dead in his tracks, turning around to face us, he has an angry expression on his face. He's eyes narrow and I see the corner of his lip twitch,

"Come again?" He says in a low tone.

Deadpool continues,

"Yeah, we heard all about you. How you screwed up everything. You should be thanking us for pulling you out of that bed you shit in."

he says in a harsh tone, but that tone was cut off by a groan of pain as Wolverine stabs him from behind with his claws.

"Oh! You backstabbing son of a bitch!" Deadpool musters out.

Wolverine screams with anger and attempts to throw Deadpool  to the ground, but Deadpool backflips over him and tackles him to the dusty desert floor. Deadpool takes out both of his guns, pressing them up against either side of Logan's rib cage, and lets off a couple rounds, causing Logan to bleed and groan in pain.

Deadpool, of course not taking anything seriously says in a seductive like tone,
"Are you ready to be calm now?" peeking over the shoulder of the Wolverine who is laying over top of him.

Logan headbutts Deadpool in the face. Next thing I know Logan is hurling Deadpool through a concrete wall, causing him to crash into the remains of what looks like the 20th Century Fox logo.
