There's nothing Soleil hates more than being in an interrogation room. The lighting is terrible, the dark blue walls make her nauseous, and her cramps have gotten worse to the point where Soleil feels like a sewing needle is stabbing her stomach.

Although Soleil changed her tampon at the boarding house, it's hard for the witch to sit through three hours of bullshit when she hasn't taken her ibuprofen yet. A dark brown curl dangles before Soleil's gaze until she deftly brushes the lock away and tucks it behind her right ear. Dark blood soaks the large, white gauze around her hand as Soleil stoops down to tie her bootlaces.

Though she can heal herself, Soleil's energy is drained from exorcising the demon at the diner.

Soleil struggles to keep her eyes open, but the light above her compels her to stay awake. She takes a deep breath and exhales a frustrated moan, rubbing her hands together to relieve the tension. Thoughts of her best friends fill her mind as Soleil sits anxiously in her seat.

Since she first got herself into the interrogation room, Soleil contacted her father to drive to the station and pick up Casper. While Philip didn't understand why his nineteen-year-old daughter put her life on the line for a human being, he was more than happy to rescue Casper if Soleil and her friends could stay at the Barlowe mansion for supper.

At first, Soleil didn't want to come one foot near her old house; but after her father's persistence, Soleil agreed to having dinner with her parents - just as long as he doesn't embarrass her.

Tucking her loose curls behind her ears, Soleil's gaze lingers on the one-way mirror until Detective Lila Cortez enters the quiet room and sits in a chair before the irritable witch.

The woman's dark hair is pulled back into a ponytail, and her outfit consists of a sleek black jacket and a pale blue button-up blouse. The flickering lights cast eerie shadows against her dark gray dress pants and black slip-on sneakers as she persistently prods the witch for a confession.

Believe it or not, Soleil knew Lila when she was a troublemaking fifteen-year-old. Lila had arrested her for breaking into houses, blackmail, and getting mixed up with unsavory characters. Despite Soleil's troubled history, Lila saw potential in the teenage witch and recommended her to Prometheus, hoping he could steer the girl towards a better path.

Soleil did change, of course. She hung out with kids her age and dated Oliver Kimble in junior high.

However, after Oliver's demise, Soleil spiraled out of control. She began shutting people out, skipped school, and wedged herself in Lila's murder investigation.

When the cops decided to drop Oliver's case, Soleil took matters into her own hands. Shaking her head, Lila is disheartened by Soleil's actions. She thought the witch could change, but now all Lila can think of is throwing the witch in jail.

Leaning her elbow on the gray table, Soleil wearily gazes at the images of herself and her best friends slaughtering monsters. From headless horse riders to vulture-like demons, Soleil's adventures have been recorded in pictures. There was no doubt a witness saw them in action. A part of Soleil wanted to hate herself for being exposed, but the other was surprised that the witness snapped photos of her in an unflattering light.
