Chapter 2: Malevolent Reboot

The heroes in the room began to slightly get uncomfortable, as the android began to scan the room they were in.

"So, uhh... Hatsume. What's supposed to happen afterwards?" Hagakure asks her.

"Well, this is the first time I actually activated him. Your guess is good as mine."

Each of them hesitated to approach, while Ultron just blankly stared at them.

"Well, uhh, it's nice to meet you, Ultron." Mina began. "I'm Mina."

Ultron projected a blue holographic scan on the hero, causing her to slightly freak out, before the android stopped his actions.

"Assessment complete. Designation Mina Ashido acknowledged as ally. Quirk, Acid. Occupation, Pro Hero designated: Pinky. It is nice to meet you, Miss Ashido."

Mina was kind of flabbergasted by this. "Uhhh... okay, how the heck did he do that?!"

Hatsume began to explain "From what I've gathered from looking into the code of this android, it seemed to be linked to a public database. Since said database gets constantly updated, I guess once you got registered, it knew what information to look for based on your facial features."

"Okay, now that is scary."

"Oooh-Oooh, what about me?!" Hagakure says out loud.

The android began to conduct a body scan on her, getting a small error during the first scan, due to her invisibility.

"Scan inconclusive. Proceeding to use infrared scan."

After doing another scan, it eventually completed the assessment.

"Assessment complete. Designation Toru Hagakure acknowledged as ally. Quirk, Invisibility. Occupation, Pro Hero designated: Invisible Girl. It is nice to meet you, Miss Hagakure."

"Oh my gosh, this is so cool!! I love this thing!"

Despite everyone's hesitancy, they eventually allowed Ultron to perform a body scan on each of them, until only Izumi was left.

"Commencing scan. Scanning... scanning... scanning... scanning."

Ultron continued "scanning", while most of the heroes were confused. Normally the android would only scan for a few seconds, but for Izumi, it was taking significantly longer than normal, almost as if it wasn't able to complete it. That was their initial concern, until the sound echoed through the room, indicating completion.

"Assessment... complete. Designation Izumi Todoroki acknowledged as... ally. Quirk, One For All. Occupation, Pro Hero designated... Green Empress. It is nice to meet you... Miss Todoroki."

"Finally. I was starting to think that Ultron had malfunctioned." Hagakure commented.

"Well, I was a bit worried at first, but even though he was made by the league of villains, he seems... completely harmless." Hatsume says, giving a sigh.

"Well... he hasn't tried to kill any of us, so that's a plus." Kirishima mentions. "But what's the plan moving forward? Can we just... leave him here? We've still got a party going on upstairs."

"Well, if we leave him down here, one of us would have to keep watch. I don't exactly fully trust this android to be down here by himself."

"But aren't you the one that said he was "completely harmless"?"

"Yes, I did say that, but it doesn't mean I trust it."

The android turned to her, noticing her speech pattern exhibit a hint of anger, before it began to approach her.
