Cuatro: D-Day

She was looking at herself in the mirror, wearing the gown and waiting for the time to come. This is the day where she'll marry that cold-blooded man. It was an intimate wedding so the present are only her parents, Sam and a friend of that man, Hansel then Daniel. She doesn't even know if he had parents or not. Not even a relatives of him attended, well there's Daniel.

Her mother called her so she got out of the room and headed to the venue. It was a close area and only the lawyer and them are present including her friend Sam.

Everyone's watching can see that it is scripted and everything is all part of the script. She can't even face everyone.

"You may now kiss the bride." the lawyer announced at maririnig  mo ang tilian at gigil ng mga naroon. Eirlys just looked at Storm's as cold as blood eyes.  After they signed the papers with the lawyer she told her parents that she had to leave. They knew it themselves about the purpose of the wedding and if she stayed there for long she'll die in suffocation. Minadali niya ang mga magulang niya dahil may importanteng lakad siya.

Isa rin sa dahilan kung bakit umalis siya agad ay may dadaluhan siyang one week conference sa Canada and she can't miss her flight. She applied for that lecture with the nephrologist doctors who had 40-50 years of experience around the world and she immediately grabs the opportunity to apply. At least she can leave the country for a week. Di pa niya maisip ang sarili as a married person.

Everything seemed like a fast forward of her life. There's a lot of happenings in her life in just a  week and it's too much for her para magsink in sa utak lahat.

A week had passed and no one knew where she went because she only applied for a vacation leave in the hospital and she didn't tell anyone about the conference. She also learned a lot about Storm. Two days after they got married, he inherited the El Grasso's businesses. That gives her a big question mark. Why did he got married without his family knowing about it? In the business world they says he's the grandson of Chairman Grasso who stepped down from his position. Pero walang maski isa sa pamilya niya ang dumalo sa kasal. If they knew at least nung binisita niya ang Chairman for check up dapat alam nila na siya ang pinakasalan ng apo nila. But they're clueless. Why?

She opened her phone nang makalapag sa NAIA ang eroplanong sinakyan niya. Saka nagsusulpotan ang mga mensaheng natatanggap niya. Even missed calls from friends and family.

Dumiretso kaagad siya sa bahay nila at naabutan ang mga magulang na may kausap. Tumigil ang mga ito at tumingin sa kanya. 

"Sang bundok ka galing? Kulang nalang paglamayan ka namin."

Lumapit siya sa inuupuan ng ina saka niyakap ito. "I just need some time alone and I had one week conference in Canada that's why I didn't manage to call. I was focusing on learning. I'm sorry if that's too sudden."

Tiningnan niya ang ama saka niyakap ito. "Sorry Dad if I made you worry."

"It's okay. It's good that you're back now." ngumiti ito sa kanya saka siya nagpaalam na aakyat sa kwarto niya.

She needs a day rest. Yun ang nasa isip niya saka nilagay sa gilid ng kama ang maleta niya saka humiga sa kama niya.

Eirlys slept 10 hours straight and woke up early in the morning. She cleaned herself and changed her clothes saka bumaba.
