Jimin
"My cock is throbbing."
Jimin giggled as he listened to Charlie's tirade about how he had beaten legendary streamer, xQc, in six moves during the largest online chess tournament a few years prior. Ever since it had happened, Charlie wouldn't shut up about it despite it being years. To be fair, if Jimin beat xQc in a handful of moves, he'd brag about it too. Anyone who knew xQc knew that he was a little... loud. Shutting him up was one of Jimin's life goals.
However, Jimin appreciated that Charlie and xQc were on good terms despite that. It would've been easy for xQc to never want to talk to Charlie again after such a public embarrassment. Getting beat in six moves wasn't something to be proud of, after all. Not that Jimin would know. He didn't know the first thing about chess.
"You've been talking about this for twenty minutes," Jimin said in a snort, and the other two boys on the call, Mark and Sean, agreed with him. "Why don't we talk about something else, my glorious king?"
"What do you possibly want to talk about that isn't my cock?" Charlie asked in his classic monotone voice, and Jimin laughed at that.
Charlie had a gift for saying the most unfunny shit in a way that was funny. He was so monotone that anything he said automatically became funny, even if that wasn't the intention.
Or maybe Jimin was just a cocksucker.
"Y/n," Jimin said without hesitation. "That's who I want to talk about."
Sean and Mark were quick to make fun of him, and that had Jimin pouting like a baby despite how they couldn't see him. It was a voice-only Discord call while they brainstormed video ideas and potential collabs. Ever since Jimin had joined the crew, all of them wanted to collab. To be fair, Jimin had a variety channel, so he meshed well with everyone, not to mention his popularity and talents led to him being high-in-demand. Everyone wanted him. Except Dior. Those bastards needed to give him a sponsorship ASAP.
"Don't make fun of me!" Jimin kicked his desk in frustration, and then cried about that, too. "I'm sensitive, okay? Don't be mean."
Mark didn't stop his laughing spree. "You're already in love with my best friend?"
"Screw off, Mar- wait, she's your best friend? Tell me everything."
That didn't help Jimin's case.
The entire group teased him again, and he facepalmed at the sound of everyone wanting to throw their hat in the ring to make fun of Jimin for having feelings. Okay, he understood why: he had caught feelings in 0.5 seconds. To be fair to him, Y/n was beautiful, and she topped that off with an awesome personality that drew him to her. Besides, it wasn't like he was in love or anything. It was a crush, yet there his "friends" were, taunting him and singing out that annoying middle school chant.
"Y/n and Jimin sitting in a tree," Mark and Sean sang together. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G."
Jimin made his voice as monotone as Charlie's. "I hate all of you."
That too didn't help his case. More laughter spewed out, and despite the situation, Jimin found himself cracking a soft smile at that. Yeah, he was stupid. Stupid with love, and no, that was not a Mean Girls reference.
"Okay, I get it, you guys like making fun of me for liking your best friend. Alright, alright, laugh it up. Can you tell me how to win her heart now?"
Mark was the first to answer, albeit through more giggles and snickers. "Dude, she likes you. No tips needed."
That had him stiffening as he held his fingers over his keyboard. He had been working on a new script for an upcoming video about the downfall of FPS games, but that stopped the second Mark said that. He couldn't comprehend the idea of Y/n liking him. They had met six days ago, after all. That had him staring at the Discord server, right where her profile picture was. He could direct message her, but he opted to save that for another day. Maybe tomorrow. He wanted to give himself the time needed to form a proper text, but he would text first. As much as relationships terrified him, he wanted to at least talk to her more. They could take it slow. That was no problem.
"You're serious?" Jimin asked after he was done with his mental ranting about taking relationships slow. "Why would she like me already? I met her less than a week ago."
"This isn't high school, Jimin," Sean replied in his familiar accent and chipper tone. It was higher-pitched than any other voice in the call, which made it easy to distinguish. "You don't need to be all slow burn and mysterious. You can date someone right away if you want. It's your life, bud, feel free to live it. You don't need to be friends with her for ten years before making a move. Make it now if you want. She doesn't live far from you, after all."
That surprised him. He didn't know she lived nearby, and that made things easier. Jack, or Sean's, answer filled him with warmth, and he let out a soft chuckle.
"Thanks, Sean. I think that's what I'll do."
Annnnnd they went right back to cackling and calling him a simp. Yeah, no. Jimin wasn't dealing with it anymore. He left the call with a groan and took his headphones off, getting out of his gaming chair. His legs felt like mush, but his dogs changed that. Kookie and Mochi bounded over to him to rub on his pants like they were cats, and they licked his hands as he reached down to pet them.
He knelt and laughed, stroking behind their ears and kissing the sides of their snouts. They were his babies, and they helped with his crippling loneliness. But maybe with Y/n...
Jimin plopped in bed after that, grabbing his phone from off his nightstand and ignoring the glow from his PC monitor. He hadn't bothered to turn it off, so his Discord was still open, and he rolled his eyes at all the pings he got from Mark, Sean, and Charlie. All three of them made fun of him for being a simp. Mind you, Y/n was literally in the server. That meant she'd see the messages. However, he chose not to worry about it and instead opened Google.
As much as he knew it would make him look guiltier, he typed in Y/n's name, and when she popped up, he clicked on the images tab to see more of her pretty face. He grinned as he scrolled through the pictures, but he couldn't help but feel like a creep. And as he scrolled through, his face fell. He came to the realization that all his friends did earlier, and it had his face paling and his hands sweating.
Shit. He really was a simp.
