Jimin had never been happier.

Sure, that was cliche, but he didn't care. For the first time in years, he had a girlfriend, and one he wasn't scared of. He knew she wouldn't break his glasses, pull on his hair, make fun of him, or do anything of the sort. That was why he was excited to do a quick livestream with her to announce their relationship. They considered doing a video, but a livestream would be far quicker and more natural. They wouldn't have to worry about editing or a potential script; they could speak off-the-handle without worrying too much.

His manager was onboard with the idea and thought it'd put their names in the news and bring more traction to their profiles, but he didn't care about that. He cared about showing the world he had the most beautiful girlfriend in the galaxy, and he had every plan to show her off as much as possible.

They were at Jimin's place with Kookie and Mochi laying nice and polite for them. Jimin and Y/n were sitting on the ground against the soundproofed wall with the camera set up in front of them. Jimin clicked his tongue and got Kookie and Mochi to stay down by their sides, and he had his phone ready to read chat when the time came. Y/n fiddled with her fingers, and with his free hand, he held one of hers.

"Don't worry, it'll be okay. Better to tell them ourselves than let the rumors spread, right? Plus, I wanna claim you as mine in front of everyone, baby."

She rolled her eyes, but he saw her smile. "Shut up, Parkie."

"You'll never stop calling me that," he mumbled as he pressed a quick kiss to her cheek, and she stuttered at that. "Awh, what's wrong? Shy... baby?"

She huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, and that had him kissing the side of her head. If they had more time, he'd kiss her lips, too, but he had a feeling they'd get distracted if he did that, so he cleared his throat and went to the camera to start the livestream. Within a few seconds, the two were live on Jimin's channel, and his phone connected to it to show the chat.

Right away, he got a thousand viewers, and he chuckled at their eagerness. He waved to the camera and introduced Y/n in case anyone somehow didn't know about her, and then he introduced himself.

"I'm sure you know what this is about, but I'll wait a few more minutes, just so more people can get here," Jimin said, and what followed was five awkward minutes of quiet with Y/n snickering at his awkwardness here and there. He had to resist the urge to giggle with her.

When enough people joined the live, over ten thousand viewers, he decided to clear his throat and rip it off like a band-aid.

"Y/n and I are dating," he said without a hitch in his voice. The chat blew up, to say the least, and Y/n laughed at that. "Oh, sorry, was that too blunt? Uh... her and I are seeing each other. Is that better?"

"Not really," she mumbled in his ear before grinning and glancing at the camera and doing a peace sign. "That's right, Jimin's my man. I know, I know, I bagged a hottie."

"Babe, we're in public."

"No, we're in your gaming room."

He facepalmed but couldn't help but smile. Her normally-shy personality was put on hold in favor of her bold side. He adored whenever it came out. Plus, it meant her claiming him in front of thousands, and eventually millions once it made its rounds on Twitter.

"We just started dating, so don't bombard us with questions, and be patient with us. We'll do collabs and all, but we'll still have our individual content as normal. This isn't becoming a dating channel, it's to be transparent before those rumors eat us alive more than they already have, okay?"

He nodded to the camera as if that'd make his words stronger, and then, without so much as saying goodbye, he turned off the stream, and Y/n snorted at that.

"That eager to get it over with?"

Jimin shook his head and came over to her, wrapping his arm around his waist. "No, I'm eager to do this."

His lips landed on hers, and it ended with them laying on the floor with him on top of her, making out with her without a care in the world, knocking his camera over in the process. Did he care? Fuck no. He continued his make out spree with her, pulling at her lower lip and bumping his nose over hers when he switched sides to devour her more.

His knee went between her legs, and she hummed in approval as he moved against her, chuckling into the kiss for a moment before nibbling on her lower lip again. However, they were interrupted by Y/n gasping and pulling back with wide eyes.

"I have to pee."

With a grunt, she pushed him off and rushed to the bathroom, and he chuckled at her antics. The way she bounced as she went to go do her business had him grinning until his eyes crinkled, his lips tingling from the sensation he had just experienced. He shook his head before getting up and grabbing his laptop as Kookie and Mochi came over and sat next to him, rubbing their heads against his legs... again. They'd never get tired of that, huh?

The door to the gaming room was ajar thanks to Y/n rushing out, and when he heard the distant vent from the bathroom, he realized it'd be a while and she didn't have to "pee." That had him opening up a Google Doc and tapping his finger against his chin. Well, if he was gonna sit there all lonely and waiting for Twitter to blow up, he could at least start a new video script, right? He had been running out of ideas recently, but with Y/n as his girl, he began to think more.

The topic of love never came up on his channel. It was all about commentary, gaming, and current events, but with the recent developments in his life, he decided to change that. It was time to experiment and think outside the box with a new type of video that was kind of like commentary, but more of a storytime video. A video where he'd share his knowledge. And he knew just what to call it.
