Chloe's POV

As I sipped my smoothie, Dizzy worked on my hair, her fingers moving deftly through the strands. She spun the chair around, facing me directly. "Spill the tea, Chloe - what's going on between you and Red?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

I knew exactly what she was getting at, but I played it cool. "Nothing, we're just friends," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.

Dizzy raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "Come on, Chloe, I've seen the way you look at her. Besides, Red only listens to you." She chuckled, her voice teasing. "You can't deny it, Chloe. There's something between you two."

I felt a flutter in my chest, but I tried to brush it off. "That's not true. Red listens to everyone. She just opens up to me more, that's all." I added, trying to sound convincing, "And besides, Red doesn't like girls."

Dizzy laughed, her eyes glinting with amusement. "So you do like her, but you're not admitting it. And how do you know Red doesn't like girls?" she pressed, her voice gentle but persistent.

I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. I couldn't reveal our time-traveling adventure and our experiences in Auradon. "I just know, okay?" I said finally, trying to sound confident.

Dizzy's expression turned serious, her voice gentle. "If you don't try, you'll never know, Chloe. I could ask her out for you, see how she feels."

My heart skipped a beat at the suggestion, and I felt a surge of panic. "You will do no such thing," I said, my voice sharper than I intended.

Dizzy's eyes locked onto mine, her expression knowing. "You know, Chloe, if you don't take a chance, you'll always wonder what could have been."

Just then, Red walked in with Celia behind her, and the conversation came to an abrupt halt.

Red's POV

As Celia teased me about being "down bad" for Chloe, I knew she was right, but I refused to admit it. Whenever I was around Chloe, I felt a weakness I couldn't explain. I had built walls around myself to avoid feeling vulnerable, but Chloe had somehow slipped past my defenses. I felt safe around her, which was a foreign and unsettling sensation.

As Celia and I arrived at Dizzy's workshop, I noticed Chloe and Dizzy deep in conversation. They abruptly stopped talking when they saw me, which only piqued my curiosity. "All done," Dizzy announced, stepping back to reveal Chloe's stunning new hairstyle.

I couldn't help but stare. Chloe looked breathtaking, and I couldn't resist teasing her. "You look charming, Chloe – absolutely charming," I said with a smirk, delighted by the blush that spread across her cheeks. There was something about her reaction that drew me in, making me want to see that blush again and again.

Chloe playfully rolled her eyes. "Shut up! It's just a bit hot in here." We both laughed, and for a moment, it felt like we were the only ones in the room.

Celia interrupted our banter, reminding us that we still had a lot to explore on the Isle. "C'mon, guys, we're not done yet. Let's go see what other wonders this place holds." With that, we set off, wandering through the Isle, our laughter and conversation filling the air.

Dizzy's POV

As I walked alongside Celia, lost in thought, she noticed my distant expression. "Hey, Dizzy, what's wrong? You seem a thousand miles away," she asked, her voice laced with concern.

I appreciated Celia's kindness, even if she did have a tough exterior. "Just thinking about Chloe and Red," I admitted, my eyes drifting back to the couple in question.

Celia's expression turned thoughtful. "What about them?" she asked, her voice softening.

I sighed, knowing I had to confide in someone. "They're perfect for each other, but neither of them will admit it. I know my cousin, Chloe, she's head over heels for Red, but she's too scared to say anything."

Celia nodded in understanding. "I've tried talking to Red, but she just says they're friends. Yet, the way she looks at Chloe... it's clear there's something more."

I nodded vigorously. "Exactly! And Chloe's the same. She can't hide her feelings from me, but she's too afraid to open up to Red."

Celia placed a gentle hand on my arm. "We can't force them to confess their feelings, Dizzy. Maybe they'll figure it out on their own."

But I was determined to help my cousin. "I think I have an idea to nudge them in the right direction," I said, a plan forming in my mind.

Celia raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Oh boy, here we go again. Try not to meddle too much, okay?"

I shot her a defensive look, my tone a bit harsher than intended. "Hey, I just want Chloe to be happy, okay? She's my cousin, and I know what's best for her."

Celia held up her hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I get it. Just be careful, Dizzy. We don't want to push them further apart."

Chloe's POV

As we strolled along, a rambunctious little boy came running around the corner, accidentally knocking into me. But before I could lose my balance, Red swiftly reacted, her hands grasping my arms to steady me.

"Hey, watch it!" Red called out to the boy, who was already disappearing into the crowd.

I smiled reassuringly at Red. "It's fine, really. He wasn't looking where he was going."

Red's gaze lingered on mine, her brown eyes filled with concern. "You need to be more careful, Bluey," she said, her voice softening .

I felt my heart skip a beat as I got lost in the warmth of her eyes. Time seemed to stand still, and for a moment, it was just us.

Celia's voice broke the spell, her throat-clearing interrupting the intimate moment. "Ehem, shall we get moving? We don't want to fall behind."

I blushed, feeling a little embarrassed at being caught staring into Red's eyes. But Red just smiled and offered me her arm, her touch sending shivers down my spine.

As we continued our tour, Dizzy suggested, "Let's check out Mal and Evie's room, and then we'll head to the boys' room." I couldn't contain my excitement. "Yeah, that sounds like fun! I've always wondered what Queen Mal and Evie's room looks like."

Red raised an eyebrow, seeming hesitant. "I don't know about that."

But I knew Red couldn't resist me. "C'mon, Red, it won't take long," I said with a persuasive smile.

Red relented, and Dizzy grinned at me, clearly pleased with herself. We made our way to Evie's room, which was a fashionista's paradise. I marveled at the stylish decor, and Red teased me about my love for blue. We exchanged playful banter, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest.

Next, we entered Mal's room, which was a purple lover's dream. I spotted a graffiti of Mal and couldn't resist teasing Red about her own love for spray cans. We shared a laugh, but our merriment was short-lived.

As I turned to leave, I realized Dizzy and Celia were nowhere to be found. The door was locked, and I knew Dizzy's mischief was at play. "Dizzy, this isn't funny!" I shouted, but there was no response.

Red turned to me, concern etched on her face. "Where are they?"

I tried to break the door, but it was too strong. Panic set in as I realized I was alone with Red in a locked room. The tension was palpable, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was about to change between us.
