Red's POV
~~~~°~~~~Chloe's gaze sparkled mischievously. "I had the craziest dream last night."
"Oh? Do tell," I said, intrigued.
Chloe's cheeks flushed. "I dreamt you said something sweet to me."
I chuckled. "Maybe it wasn't just a dream."
Chloe's eyes widened. "You're serious?"
"Dead serious," I replied.
Chloe's smile softened. "I love that."
I grinned. "I love you."
Chloe laughed, shaking her head. "You're ridiculous."
"Hey, I'm just speaking my mind," I teased.
Chloe rolled her eyes. "You're impossible."
We both laughed.
"Shower time!" Chloe exclaimed.
"I'm racing you!" I shouted.
We sprinted to the shower room.
"Hey, no fair!" Chloe exclaimed.
I grinned. "First come, first served!"
Chloe slipped in beside me.
After showering, we got ready.
"Morning sunshine," I teased, holding the door open for Chloe.
She rolled her eyes, smiling. "Morning grump."
Inside the cafeteria, we selected our favorite treats.
Over breakfast, we chatted about our plans.
"History first, as usual," I said.
"It's not that bad," Chloe replied.
I raised an eyebrow. "That's because it's your favorite subject, isn't it?"
Chloe blushed. "Maybe a little."
She looked up, her eyes sparkling. "And it's also because I get to spend time with you."
My heart skipped a beat. "Aw, I love spending time with you too."
Chloe's smile softened.
We finished breakfast and rushed to our history class.
Professor Everwood walked in. "Good morning, class."
"Good morning, Professor," we chimed in unison.
Professor Everwood began writing on the blackboard. "Today, we'll explore the rise of ancient civilizations."
As she lectured, Chloe's hand brushed against mine under the desk.
I intertwined our fingers, feeling a rush of excitement.
Chloe's gaze met mine, and we shared a secret smile.
Chloe focused on Professor Everwood, taking diligent notes. Meanwhile, I zoned out, captivated by Chloe's smile.
My gaze drifted to her hands, moving swiftly across her notebook.
Professor Everwood's voice faded into the background.
"Red, pay attention," Professor Everwood said suddenly.
Chloe turned to me, catching my gaze. I smiled, still distracted.
Chloe's eyes sparkled, amused. She tapped my hand under the table.
"Pay attention," she whispered.
I grinned mischievously. "How can I when there's a beautiful girl beside me?" I whispered back.
