We were left alone and there was a super quiet moment while we’re walking. I mean my heart is beyond happiness and my mind is at peace. Miggy, that’s the guy’s name and he is Yuri’s brother. I mean, ughhh the universe must have been testing me.
As we walked in the quiet of the school grounds, the stillness was suddenly pierced by Yuri’s voice. He stopped in his tracks, and I noticed an unusual seriousness in his expression that immediately drew my full attention.
“Kenji,” he said, his voice steady but carrying an undercurrent of vulnerability, “there’s something I need to tell you.”
The gravity in his tone made my heart skip a beat. I could feel the weight of his words even before they came. He took a deep breath, and in that moment, the world seemed to contract around us, focusing solely on the intensity of his gaze.“I’m gay,” Yuri said, his eyes locked onto mine. “I like men.”
The confession was like a thunderclap in the still night. My heart felt like it was about to explode. The ground beneath me seemed to sway, and every thought in my head vanished, replaced by a single, overwhelming feeling. I could barely breathe as the reality of his words sank in.
Without thinking, driven by a mix of impulse and a surge of emotion I could barely control, I took a step closer to Yuri. The world seemed to slow down, each second stretching into eternity. As I approached him, my hands reached out almost instinctively, cradling his face gently in my palms. His skin felt warm under my fingertips, and I could sense the tremor of his breath against my touch.
I leaned in and kissed him, my lips brushing against his with a softness that spoke of all the feelings I had struggled to keep hidden. The kiss was tender, yet filled with the urgency of everything I had kept buried inside. It was a kiss that carried the weight of my unspoken emotions, a silent confession that I had been waiting for the right moment to express.
When I finally pulled back, our foreheads touching, I looked into his eyes, which were now wide with surprise and something else—hope? “Yuri,” I began, my voice trembling slightly with the intensity of my feelings, “I’ve been trying to find the right words for so long. I didn’t realize how much I liked you until now. I care about you so much.”
The silence that followed was charged with a new energy, one that was both electrifying and tender. I could see the relief and affection in Yuri’s eyes, and it was clear that my confession had opened up a new chapter between us. In that quiet moment, the world outside seemed to disappear, leaving only the raw, honest connection between us.
We continued walking and reached the parking lot, I opened the door for him and I started driving. “You have a car aside from the motorbike you were using last time?” He asked and I just casually nodded, “Then that means you can drive your way to the uni when you left your bike the last time?” I looked at him as the question was asked just when the traffic light turns red.
Instead of inventing another reason I just explained how I got excited when he said that he will be dropping by my place and how 6am became my favorite time of the day and that all of the meals we shared were just a morning date for me.
“I became fond of you too – I am just not really sure when exactly but I think there was something about you when I saw you during our first day, remember when someone asks if you are gay?” he smiled and my heart felt fluttered.
I wanted to tell him that I was looking for him the entire time and how that moment struck me because he showed up out of nowhere and out of all the classes where he could possibly be, he ended up being with mine.
“Arrggghhh god, you know how surprised I was when you showed up in the class? I feel like you are my hero for being there. I was just looking at your picture in the hallway and got intrigued because Yeji shared how much she’s into you.” I sharedAs we entered Yuri's condo, a soothing ambiance enveloped us. The lighting was deliberately dim, casting a warm, amber glow that filled the room with a sense of serene intimacy. Soft light from strategically placed lamps and flickering candles bathed the space in gentle illumination, creating a cocoon of privacy that seemed to isolate us from the outside world.
Yuri guided me through the living area, which was thoughtfully arranged for comfort. The large, overstuffed sofa, with its rich fabric and inviting cushions, was positioned to take full advantage of the soft, golden light. A plush throw blanket was casually draped over the back of the sofa, its texture suggesting warmth and coziness.
The air was subtly scented with hints of vanilla and sandalwood from the candles, adding to the comforting atmosphere. The faint, melodic strains of a jazz playlist provided a mellow soundtrack to our evening, its soft rhythms blending harmoniously with the tranquil setting.
As we settled onto the sofa, the softness of the cushions cradled us, allowing us to sink into each other’s presence. The physical closeness between us felt electrifying. Yuri’s gaze held a blend of tenderness and intensity that made my heart race, the warm light highlighting the features of his face in a way that seemed almost ethereal.
He reached out, his hand gently cupping my face with a touch that was both firm and tender. His thumb brushed lightly across my cheek, and his eyes locked onto mine with a depth that conveyed both his affection and his vulnerability. The moment seemed suspended in time as he leaned in, our breaths mingling in the space between us.
When our lips finally met, the kiss was soft and exploratory, a gentle merging of our feelings. His lips were warm and inviting, moving against mine with a slow, deliberate rhythm that spoke of both longing and care. The kiss deepened as our connection grew more urgent, a dance of sensation and emotion that left me breathless.
Yuri’s hands began to explore with increasing confidence, sliding from my face to my shoulders, and then to my back. Each touch was a mix of tenderness and passion, his fingers tracing a path that made me shiver with anticipation. I responded in kind, my own hands moving to his back, feeling the firm, reassuring muscles beneath his shirt.
The throw blanket, initially a casual accessory, now cocooned us in its warmth. As we continued to kiss, our bodies pressed close together, the blanket enveloped us like a protective embrace, adding to the sense of closeness and intimacy.
Yuri’s kisses became more fervent, each one a testament to the desire and connection we were sharing. His hands roamed over my body with a careful yet passionate exploration, his touch igniting a fire within me that was both exhilarating and comforting. I could feel every movement, every brush of his skin, heightening the intensity of our connection.
The soft glow of the candles created a halo of light around us, accentuating the tender and passionate nature of our interaction. The gentle rustling of the throw blanket, combined with the soft strains of the music, set a rhythm that matched the deepening intimacy between us.
As the night unfolded, we remained wrapped in each other’s arms, lying together on the sofa. The quiet, dimly lit room was filled with the sounds of our shared laughter, whispered conversations, and the occasional soft moan of pleasure. Each moment was a celebration of our newfound closeness, a blending of emotional and physical connection that felt both profound and exhilarating.
